200+ miles on the trails for the summer and more to go! ⛰️

Theres something about slowing down, getting out of what’s familiar and walking by yourself or with friends, God shows up. 🚶🏿‍♂️

If you would have told me a year ago, that I’d get into hiking, I’d call you a false prophet 😂 but we are, on mountains and in forests 🤷🏿‍♂️

Also…. At this point @acg just needs to send something 👀 These Zegama Trail Hikes are 🔥

LIFE IS BETTER IN COMMUNITY.

Life was never meant to be done in isolation yet men are more isolated than ever. It’s easy to bury ourselves in work and productivity while never investing in our own growth as men, leaders, husbands, and fathers.

I’ll be honest: getting up this early is hard for me. Every week there’s a version of me that would rather stay in bed. But every week it’s worth it because of who’s waiting on the other side of that alarm.

Thursday mornings we open the Word, pray, and talk honestly through what life is actually handing us. Friday mornings we’re back on the court for pickleball.

Here’s what I’ve learned: the right men around you don’t just keep you company they build you up. They call you higher. They make you do better, be better, and go further than you ever could alone.

That’s what community and covenant really mean. If you don’t have that, it’s worth becoming part of something bigger than yourself. @rosechurchpdx

When you plan for beautiful sunset photos along the coast but the coast has other plans… instead we embraced the cold, moody fog and honestly? I’m not mad about it one bit.🤍
I also had to keep it real with a shot at the end showing true candidness during family photos…🤭
