End of July speed trip to #Denmark - first time since 2014 and only 4 nights could never be enough. It was my will to finish #Providence by #AlanMoore and #JacenBurrows but not even half way through yet. It's Moore-level so has to be digested slowly. @silkil_y_ and I were receivers of the sweetest hospitality in #Jutland by @emmapilgaard1011 and @jimantoniou25 (and the extended family) in #Aarhus and #Viborg (yup, Pynchonians, the V-Borg, correct), and we had tons of marshmallows and #LimfjordsPorter even rare #Varlavnen #Týr ... we also encountered the magic deers, especially attracted to the one with the third eye!

Gutted I never managed to see good friends in #København but lovely to share lovely memories from days of future past with @silkil_y_ revisiting the dormitory I stayed at for 1.5 year as an MSc student, cheapest student accommodation in town (the infamous Grønjordskollegiet) only 10 minutes away from what used to be the Royal School of Library and Information Science, only 5 minutes from Lucca's Pizzeria, the cheapest, friendliest, and online platform-resistant-est pizza in town, next to bodega Lystig, where I decided to celebrate my MSc defence day from 1pm to 4am if only for the glorious owner who would only address me as Frank Zappa (in fact one of the most memorable days of my life, the number of people who came could only be compared with the number of beers we all consumed). Pity that all three, school, pizzeria, and bodega are now shut down or otherwise transformed. Dramatic skies in the Flatland are always permanent in their constant flux, tho!

Joyful last Sunday embracing and absorbing the radiant celestial object so rare up in the Darkland, making and doing with @silkil_y_ making the most of our new garden, and I am really excited to have a copy of #DownWithTheKing by #RunDMC being one of my most favourite hiphop songs ot all time, now pressed as a 7" by #DinkedRecords and to have found that sweet #LauraKinneyWolverine cosplay variant by #FedericoVicentini - excellent addition to the Blood Hunt arc.

I bet it was @silkil_y_ who arranged for #DeadpoolWolverine - a film concentrating on Deadpool's birthday - to premiere on the day of my birthday in #Edinburgh whereas it premiered either on the 24th or today anywhere else in the world (!) among all other millions of surprises she kept for me. No better gift than a coincidence - especially for a person who doesn't make a big deal out of own birthday. The film was a blast, already planned our second viewing with good pals. No spoilers besides some carefully selected #keyissues on picture 2.

Keeping with the symphonic sentiment, two albums that came with us from France's fringe record stores. #LaAventuraDeLasPlantas by #JoëlFajerman and the #SymphonicSuiteYamato - their wordlessness is telling of their description as well.

I always love it when @silkil_y_ and I walk out from a #charityshop and she's gotten me a little surprise while I wasn't looking. So nice to reread #TheDead by #JamesJoyce from this little #Penguin60s pocket edition.

Is it in this book that the early key to the #FinnegansWake is to be found? That the #thunderwords signal the death and wake of an institutional here comes everybody?

I will keep listening to #TheLassOfAughrim to keep reminded of the awaken dead. Lisa's version, for one, who taught me about the fate of Lucia's and Violet's.

And drink lovely sour potions from the #VaultCityBrewing - a #CoconutCherryCabana at this instance.

Been a challenging period in many ways, with bright intervals guiding the way. Planning a next round of barrage of posts as I did three months ago, but before that, here's to today's haul with @silkil_y_ - inescapable visit to #LotusRecordShop in Thessaloniki and we couldn't leave without:
- #Lepidoptera by #LenaPlatonos - all time favourite album, my first chance to get a physical form of (swipe for lyrics to Cyaniris)
- #SourSharpAndSoft by #Grix - probably my favourite #freejazz trio from Greece, consisting of legends #FlorosFloridis #AntonisAnissegos and #YorgosDemetriadis
- #Symphonies by #ArvoPärt - glad to see #ECM being more widely distributed in Greece again
- #YouBettaDuck being live recording of #TheCramps from 1984 in Canada
- #OutOfOrbit by legendary Athens DJ and producer #MrZ
- #Φθορά by my pal #Zas
- #ToTheEveningChild by #StephanMicus being my introduction to experimental classical music, missing the concert of his I attended almost 15 years ago.

And a bottle of #SumiEink from the arts and crafts store. And a bottle of #FioreDelDragone perfume by my favourite #TesoriDOriente providers.

More, in good time.

A couple quick #colourpencil sketches @silkil_y_ and I did upon our visit to #NationalGalleriesOfScotland - while #colourpencils are fun, picture 2 indicates that function must follow form in my case...

The protecting spirit #Kitsune reappeared yesterday.

Good opportunity for a comeback around these alleys.
