Until next time Bristol. A fun afternoon it was! Thank you all who came along! ✨oh and don’t forget our rendition of WIBBLY WOBBLY INFLATABLE TUBE MAN at the end there 🤣

SFS is taking a wee break as our new Sister event space @silkyartshowcase is taking the spotlight, with applications still open until the end of April! Check it out, be that for applying to perform, come down to watch or maybe sponsor the event! 🥰

Every single social with SFS has different vibe, but it’s noticeable that every social has this in common: wholesome vibes & fun, silly times! Alongside whatever vibes each attendees helps create whilst being a part of the space.

SFS was created as a space to bring folks together to move, create, play & socialise together, no matter experience level of movement or preference of style. If you’ve been to a past SFS event and would like to share your invaluable feedback, please check out the feedback form (can be anonymous or named) to let us know what we can do better or what you think we do well! Always open ears here 🥰🌷

Even though it’s only part of the social, making time for folks to take up space and have their expressive moment is always integral to our studio socials ✨

Thank you to all who attended our Loughborough event at @provocafit.pole - we raised nearly £400 for their studio move fundraiser! Provocafit is now a CIC and such an important space for many in the East Midlands.

We hope to see you for a wiggle at a future SFS event!

Saturday 7th March 3-6pm @aya_pole London✨

Super excited to announce that SFS will be hosting a new Showcase in November 2026 🧚

A showcase for any style of dance, all movement valid, all bodies welcome, all folks welcome (unless you’re a TERF, SWERF or any other -phobe). The space is your canvas, your body the art, paint the space how you wish.

Multiple art forms welcome & encouraged from pole, floor, chair, cabaret, contemporary, poetry & more. Anything goes. Playful, vulnerable, weird, sexy, strong…whatever feels most authentic to you, whatever story you wish to tell.

Alongside this, a mini art exhibition of various mediums (paint, drawing, sculptures, photography etc) to support artists in providing a space to showcase their creations.
