Last Thursday we joined @citizenwatchus to celebrate 50 years of Eco-Drive innovation at the Guggenheim Museum in New York. Strategic consultant @vittocalabrese commissioned MQ Architecture the design of an immersive experience to commemorate the anniversary in this iconic New York space. The production was led by @pietropagliaro and @sixhoursahead , with whom it was a pleasure to collaborate, together with the support of @chateaubrooklyn in assembly and installation. The metal work for the structures was carried out by @ethewhitney adding character to the installation. We’re excited to continue collaborating with Citizen and to be part of such meaningful moments. Thanks to everyone who made it possible! 🙌🏼 #CitizenEcoDrive50 #MQArchitecture #EventDesign #Guggenheim #NYCEvents

𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 Winner - YVAC2021 Winner: •Ignacio de Silóniz @siloniz.works Project title:  SHIP UN-BREAKING YARD. New portuary urbanisms. Project typology:  Ship Recycling Facility + Coastal Uses Description: UN-BREAKING YARD wants to bring the action of ship breaking to the port of Lisbon, to normalize an inevitable process in the marine industry. The artificial island where it is established is formed by the deposition of dredged material obtained from the estuary basin. The yard´s buildings are build from the skeleton of obsolete vessels, which were destined to be scrapped in the beaches of India and Bangladesh. Transmuting the architectural language towards the naval one, hulls, frames or bulkheads become structures, creating spaces for both machines and people in the form of warehouses or offices. -------------------------- #standoutarchi #architecturecompetitions #interiordesign #urbandesign #architecturetime #competitionsoon #architectureopportunities #architecturecompetition #architecturecontest #architecturestudent #architecturedesign #arquitectura #sustainablearchitecture #archistudent #arquitecturadesign #archicompetition #yvac2021
