Last weekend: Silver Falls Trail Runs! They put on such an incredible event, I’m not surprised it’s one of the highest registrants in our area. Great to push myself after my 100 mile run at angry owl. Aspen ran her first 50k, and absolutely crushed it! And to have Qwayde, Ava and Westley there was so lovely 🙂 we finished off the weekend spending time with my dad for his birthday. And Westley finally found his people 🤣 He’s so musical and I’m not! Life is a blessing.

Silver Falls 7 miler trail run today!! It was good to see fellow Lewis County Runners there today!! It was a tough trail. Right when I thought I was towards the end, there was a lot more to go nearly 8 miles. @silverfallstrailruns @kaceyhyde @painterwanda

Beautiful weekend on the trails! Happiness and joy is what I felt. I AM SO GRATEFUL ✨🌲⛰️💕💙🩵

Saturday, I was able to crew @angelaontherunpnw on a 11.8 mile segment of her 40 miler. I’m so happy I got to experience this with her. She looked so strong throughout our run. It was truly motivating to see her dedication and determination to see her ultra through. Congratulations Little Miss Ultra runner!
Also thank you for giving me the opportunity to see all these beautiful trails Portland has to offer! It has been magical!

Sunday, I ran @silverfallstrailruns Half Marathon with @cgbothman and @msmarin24. We got the most beautiful weather🤩. It was an amazing run! I had the best time with you ladies!! Thank you both for being so kind and welcoming! I can’t wait for our next adventure!
@cgbothman thank you for always including me and sharing all the races with me😘

Shout out to @lrc_nw ladies!! This community showed up. You all have created something very special! I’m glad I get to be apart of it! 💕

Don’t let the fear of failing keep you from discovering what you’re capable of. Your dreams are still valid, your time is not up, and your next chapter can begin today.

This week, choose progress over perfection, courage over fear, and action over excuses. 💪🏽✨

Got out of town. 💜
7 miles in the books! 🏃‍♀️⛰️
It wasn’t pretty, and it definitely challenged me more than I expected, but I showed up and finished. A good reminder that not every race goes as planned, and sometimes just crossing the finish line is enough. 💛 Silver Falls you are beautiful.

🌲 What an amazing weekend!! So many highlights !!
~ I got to run with my sister at her first trail run 5k!
~ I also got to watch my coach cross the finish line of his 50k race!
~ Finished my half marathon with crushing my goals for the average pace I wanted!
🌲 Finish time 2 h 20 mins 10 secs- av. 10:52 min/mile
~ We also got to volunteer at the finish line recording bib numbers, what an honor to watch all the emotions of people accomplishing what they set out to do!
~ Met some amazing people who are part of the running community as well!
🌲 Just want to thank @silverfallstrailruns for putting on such an amazing weekend!

My right knee asked for a flat course, my brain chose uphills, downhills and waterfalls. Worth it. First trail half marathon in the books! 🌲🏃🏻‍♂️

Another lovely day, running in the PNW. I had a blast today at the @silverfallstrailruns in the beautiful Silver Falls State Park.

It was a beautiful course with plenty of challenges, but some really great people.

The weekend did not go as originally expected, but it was still an awesome time and my lovely family was there to support me and show me love the whole time. I'm a lucky guy.
