Long-due life update :
After some random bad luck (slipping while shaping an icy takeoff 🙈), my winter abruptly changed with a meniscus surgery in March. It hit hard, I had thought I was done with surgeries. As many times before, gym kept me sane. I got back on my feet just in time to finish the season on Swiss snow in my since-a-couple-years-job as an Austrian national team coach. Next, I helped with Red Bull Rising - an event to support the best 40 upcoming ski & snowboard kids worldwide. RBRising has evolved out of @annagassersnow ‘s event @futurequeenssession , which I helped with the years before, too. It was awesome to spend some days with the biggest upcoming talents again. @snowboard_nico captured the little opener hand plant there. So I’m ending a funky winter back on snow, not at 100% , but good enough to end it with a smile. I also end my Team Austria coaching job with a smile, thankful for lots of great moments throughout the last 3years, but also looking forward to focus more on my personal life again from here on. Friends are friends, no matter if a job additionally connects you to them or not.
What’s next? There are several plans & opportunities between Europe, the USA and Brazil. I’m not sure yet in which order things will happen. But that’s ok, I’m returning to the luxury of going with the flow ☺️✌️

🎬🍿 @andy.wolff X @zdfmediathek made a documentary movie about my life. They approached me after the @spiegelmagazin article in 2020, and filmed & edited since then. Now, May4th, the movie will be released at @dokfest in Munich in the RIO1 cinema at 9pm (2nd screening is May11 at Deutsches Theater and 3rd screening on May12 at Pasinger Fabrik) -> to win 5x 2tickets for the premiers, follow @dokfest and tag a friend in the comments below 💝

This is just a short movie sequence of me as a ballett child (I did Ballett from 4-14 years of age). It was definitely a wild contrast going from Ballett to snowboarding. Stay tuned for the real teaser & more - or just come to RIO cinema on May4th 😉
