We can’t believe it: the third Waterford Chamber Music Festival has come to end. We have had an amazing weekend!

We began on Friday with a Musical Promenade through the stunning gardens of Mount Congreve.
@inscriptioneshibernicae Charlie Kerrigan expertly led our curated pairings of music and poetry - works by Kaija Sarriaho, J. S. Bach, Ysaÿe & Debussy; with poems by Mary Oliver, Wordsworth, Ní Chuilleanáin, Ōshima Ryōta & Arthur Golding.

@hannahmillerhorn performed ‘Goat Song’, a world premiere of a WCMF commission written specially for her by composer @seanodalaigh_oifigeach , beneath a majestic tree, in the distance atop a sloping verge.

Beautiful shots by @aodhomuiri 📷
