Yesterday, I had the opportunity to experience excitement and happiness, alongside the nervousness of being on stage for the first time. It still feels like a dream..

I am forever grateful to @screenliftstudios and @letleonlive for giving me the chance and opportunity to take my first steps on stage, doing something I was always passionate about, but scared to take a chance on; for believing in me and making me realise that it can become a reality today and not "later". For opening the door to this lovely community, full of talented and supportive people, that I got to meet and work with.

Yesterday was a good day! 😌❤️‍🩹

(Also, thank you to our friend who captured these lovely behind-the-scenes pictures 🥰)

Last night, I completed my first stage debut as Lead in ‘CARNI CRUSH’ 🎭 a play that came from a single sentence. That sentence became one scene - I remember cold reading that scene over and over to the point where I felt I didn’t really need to see it to perform it 😂 but that scene was enough to create a reaction outside of me, the writer, and the people performing it as practice. When Leon said he was making a script out of it and final casting decision landed me as Naomi, I knew it was going to a different kind of challenge for me.

💜 The road to working on Naomi, working as a team player, and trusting the people around me enough to take criticism and use that to grow was not an easy one 🙏🏽 but the genuine happiness I saw from the cast to the audience last night made it all worth it ❤️

Thank you, @letleonlive for trusting me with this role and making me a better person from it
Thank you, @hayden_g2 for trusting me enough to go the distance with our performances together 🎭
Thank you to everyone who came to the performance, whether they’ve known me 1 year or 20 😂
+ thank you to my scene partners who made the end result possible 💜

Stage down ✅✅ onto the next!
