She shines again! Almost 9 hours of washing, claying, polishing today. Back at it tomorrow with tyre dressing, Collinite wax, window cleaner and the interior.
•
When I took our car for the annual oil change in March, the guys at the garage figured it was "good customer service" to run it through the car wash.
•
The car is 3 years old and had never been in a car wash before. Always two bucket hand wash. Almost swirl and scratch free.
•
When I walked back to the car it was one big swirl party. I was devastated. I know they did it to do good, to do something extra, but man 😔😣😣

I didn't know there was this thing called #marchmeetthemaker going on, but my new Year's resolution was to tell you guys more about myself so here goes!
•
Today's theme is "you", so here's a rare photo of myself that I actually like. I'll tell you guys a little bit about me below, but feel free to ask away in the comments or in my stories!
•
I'm a full time healthcare professional (medical laboratory) who moved from Belgium to The Netherlands in 2013 to live with the woman I married last year.
•
I found the leathercraft hobby last year and it has been an amazing escape from everyday life with chronic migraine. The support I get from you guys is absolutely amazing!
•
My other big hobby is cars. Anything that's got to do with cars has been in my life ever since I could walk and talk. We sold our classic Citroën DS last summer and are now saving for something sportier. Check out @simmkevg (my other page) for more car stuff.

First @lovetodetour afternoon mini roadtrip of the season with these 3 was 👌🏼 as always!

@chevronette @tracksaxo and @elco1987 always make for some good company. Too bad @sicnarfnl is injured and couldn't join us.

Yesterday my @lovetodetour companion @sicnarfnl and I did a double detail of our cars in between rain showers. We washed the Astra and racing C2 with @waxaddictuk pure shampoo before waxing the C2. I finished up by waxing the Astra today.
The rain on top of the fresh @collinite_wax 915 marque d'elegance makes for some great beading shots, and the Waxaddict buffing cloths are a great addition to my workflow.

I was going for a 25-30 km mountainbike run, but because of some inconsistent trail markers I eventually did 53 km (swipe right for an example)😅. While I normally enjoy muddy forest trails, today was loose sand at the heath fields and long gravel trails in the forests. The loose sand is not really my thing, but I love racing along those forest lanes.

Somewhere along the way my road got blocked by a sleeping Scottish Highland bull and a large flock of sheep!

I had a great time just being by myself for a while, but I doubt I'll be able to walk tomorrow 🤣

Let's introduce ourselves! This gorgeous Citroën DSpécial belongs to @simmkevg, a Belgian guy with a passion for cars living North of Amsterdam. The DS was a family barnfind and is now his project car.

Some cars at @capital_cars_classics , like this Porsche 356, were in better-than-new condition!

Even with a minimal amount of detail, the iconic Citroën DS is instantaneously recognisable.

Yesterday a group of club members and crew drove to the PRC#3 meeting, organised by our friends of Kaiserlions. Amazing cars and lovely atmosphere. We'll probably head that way again next year!
