Get tickets for Yinka Ilori, Daryn and Wonderhood Studios at Nicer Tuesdays in November!

It may be a rainy day here in London but our November Nicer Tuesdays line-up is sure to bring some sunshine. Taking to the @EartHackney stage on the 3rd of November will be:

@Yinka_ilori, a multi-disciplinary artist and designer whose bold visual language draws on his British-Nigerian heritage, Nigerian parables and verbal traditions through contemporary design.

@Darynci, an illustrator and designer who doesn’t so much design logos but crafts “ornamental icons” for flower shops and art studios with elegant mark-making and animations.

@Simon.Elvins, head of art of design and Roy Barker, creative and design operations director, from @WonderhoodStudios, the independent creative and advertising company based in London, who’ll be touching on local Soho community work, which has included brands for Sacred Grounds a church coffee shop, and the last school in Soho: Soho Parish Primary.

We are delighted to bring this event to you in partnership with @Affinity and @Cavalry by @Canva. Affinity combines professional vector design, photo editing, and page layout in one powerful app, while Cavalry covers 2D animation and motion design.

In 2019, @simon.elvins and @adelejeffsforyou bought and sold through The Modern House, swapping their two-bedroom flat in Forest Hill for their new home, a Walter Segal self-build which looks over Sydenham Wells Park. Segal's revolutionary idea was to strip homebuilding back to its simplest terms, and these environmentally friendly, low-cost homes look and feel strikingly modern to this day. We caught up with Simon and Adele to discuss how they made the space their own. Head to our bio to read more.
