New Orleans : le chant des racines

What a journey we’ve had in Royaumont !! Sooo grateful to have spent these two wonderful weeks with such incredible human beings and musicians 🤩

It was a huge honor to get to know the music and culture of the Black Masking Indians of New Orleans thanks to the generosity of two chiefs @goldeneaglesxtheestorm and @bigchiefjuanpardo. Many thanks also to @annepaceo, our Queen who mentored this residency so sensibly.

Deeply happy to have met these amazing artists ✨

Last but not least, thank you to the Museum @quaibranly and the festival @carrieresstroch for welcoming us for our two concerts.

Can’t wait to meet again ❤️‍🔥🥹
