Last year we created something special - Deafened Giants - a film that I directed with the help of an amazing group of people, now out in the world and doing festival rounds. It tells the story of Kai, a 12-year-old boy caught in an inescapable sea of noise, while separated from his mother. His ordeal mirrors the marine creatures’ struggles with the underwater noise pollution that jeopardises their survival and is one of the most underappreciated environmental issues of our time.
