Huge thank you to @simons_toybox . When he originally bought the Map Rooms from me, part of our deal was that he’d send me back the highest-graded one. He kept his word and sent me this beautiful AFA 90 — then went above and beyond and surprised me with a bunch of Care Bears goodies, including an Aladdin lunchbox and thermos. It means a lot when someone not only keeps their word, but goes out of their way to do something extra. I genuinely appreciate the generosity and thought that went into all of it. This Map Room will always be a special piece in my collection. Thank you. Seriously. “Fortune and glory, kid. Fortune and glory.” ❤️ #backseatarchives #kenner #indianajones #afa #maproom

Forget Megatron (for now) I want a Soundwave Big Fig next. This Optimus Prime has crashed onto the action figure market like a much needed breath of fresh air! After all the price gouging from every major figure brand, this figure comes along for just $34.99 and has brought new hope and joy to many in the collecting community. Let’s hope we see more releases like this soon. I think collectors are exhausted by the price hikes and fed up with being taken advantage of and welcome new alternatives like this one. What say you, sound off in the comments 👇

It’s probably too late but I feel like we need to push back on these prices. This isn’t worth $47. It just isn’t. Sure, it’s bigger than a regular figure, and I guess that justifies a few dollars more, but not this much. It used to be that all the figures in a wave would be the same price, you’d have some bigger figures and some smaller figures but it all evened out across the wave. There also was a time when you’d get the parts packed into each figure in the wave for a large build a figure like this. We’re really being exploited as a group by Hasbro at this point. What would be a good way to fight back? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.

My sister came through with this epic $10 G.I. Joe RAH lot from a friend who was cleaning out their relatives’s house. Yes, only $10! What gems do you spot? O-rings are shot, but most of the joints are pretty tight! #gijoe #gijoerealamericanhero #vintagegijoefigures

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the best artist in the toy community @chris_bordenca_art - If you don’t have one of his prints do yourself a favor and get some now! He’s been a part of our ChrisCon events since the beginning. If you have a favorite toy in your collection, Chris has probably painted it. Go check out his site. (Sorry for any confusion since we both have the same first name 😂)
