We are very excited to welcome our newest ambassador to the REDSIX family - Graeme Simpfendorfer. I recently discovered Simpf’s is as passionate as I am about Mental Health and with the direction REDSIX is heading, we felt Graeme was the perfect fit. Please join me in welcoming Graeme to the REDSIX team on our endeavour to help break the stimga around mental health. Graeme joined Victoria Police in 1994 and worked across metropolitan Melbourne before being promoted to Detective in 2003. In 2006 he transferred to the prestigious Homicide Squad, honing his skills from the legends of Victoria Police Homicide. He then led small teams in the highly dynamic and pressured world of armed robbery investigations. He obtained two departmental commendations for some high profile, infamous investigations before moving to the North East of Victoria as the Officer in Charge, Wodonga Detectives.   Graeme is the recipient of the National Emergency Medal (Black Saturday Bushfires 2009), the National Medal, the National Police Service Medal and Victoria Police Ethical Service Medal. He has a Bachelor of Policing (Investigations) and Graduate Certificate in Fire Investigations, both from Charles Sturt University. He is also a councillor for the City of Wodonga and a board member for the Centre Against Violence.   After an esteemed career as a Detective Sergeant with Victoria Police, Graeme went on to establish Peregrine Consultancy in 2021 delivering vulnerable and impactful sessions as a keynote speaker. He also now stars in the Logie nominated hit reality TV Show, ‘Hunted Australia’.

🖤 Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. Instead of hiding the breaking points, Kintsugi highlights the story of the dish and transforms it into art. I spent the last 24 hours with some very inspiring humans. All influencers. All leaders. All creating real impact in their workplaces, businesses and communities. 👉🏻All had scars. 👉🏻All had bruises, scrapes and calluses. 👉🏻Some, like me, have some grey hairs. 👉🏻They've all made mistakes, wasted money, wasted time, wasted energy, wasted love on the wrong people. 🖤 What makes these people different is their openness: instead of hiding their mistakes, they share them openly. They celebrate them. Sometimes, they paint them in gold. Your mistakes aren't holding you back, unless you try to hide them. Forget looking like all the other dishes, and show your art. We want to know your story, starting with your scars. "Ring the bells that still can ring. Forget your perfect offering. There is a crack, a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in." - Leonard Cohen 👊🏻 come with me @crossfittma #alburywodongasurrounds #alburynsw #alburywodonga #wodongavic #fitness #nutrition #effort #consistency #integrity #community #education

Why the sad face Kara? Is it because you are stuck next to a filthy Blues supporter? Or because you got ripped off in the beer stakes? 🏈🍻🍻🍻 #stateoforigin #bluessuck #devilsadvocate #wherestherestofmybeer #goodtimes #furphy #bringbackthebiff #beerandsport
