‼️IF YOU LOVE MYSTERY THRILLER BOOKS, YOU’RE GOING TO LOVE THIS🤞 Strange Pictures by Uketsu #bookreview rating: 4.5/5⭐️ Read if you like: 🩸Horror 🕵️‍♀️ Mystery Thriller 📚 Japanese literature 🧩 Puzzles and creepy visuals I read this book in one sitting, and I’m not even exaggerating. It’s fast-paced, super gripping, and just under 300 pages. The creepy pictures scattered throughout the book added a whole other level of atmosphere. It felt like I was solving a mystery myself, and I couldn’t stop turning the pages!😩 The story is told through what feels like short stories or maybe different timelines, and each one pulled me in right away. The way everything ties together at the end was so clever! The pictures weren’t just there for show, either. They made the reading experience feel interactive! It reminded me a bit of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, but with a darker, more unsettling tone, and all set within Japanese culture. Even with the jumps in time and multiple characters, it was surprisingly easy to follow. The writing had a great rhythm and kept me curious the whole way through. My only wish is that the ending had a bit more intensity or a final twist to match the tension built throughout the book. Still, it was a really solid and enjoyable read! If you're in the mood for a mystery that feels fresh and just the right amount of creepy, Strange Pictures is worth checking out! It might not be all over booktok or bookstagram yet, but it's one of those underrated gems that deserves more attention!🤌✨ (No moodboards this time cause i’d love to keep the mystery, but here are some sneak peeks of the pictures!) Q: What’s your fav mystery thriller books? Pls give me more recs! 🏷️: #bookrecommendations #strangepictures #uketsu #bookrecs #bookcommunity #mysterythriller #mysterybooks #thrillerbooks #horrorbooks #japanlit #bookstagrammer #bookstagram #bookreviewer #bookbloggers

First-Time Caller by B.K. Borison @authorbkborison #bookreview ☎️💗 Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ (4.25/5) Spice: 🌶️🌶️ (2/5) Read if you like: 💓 Forced Proximity 💓 Grumpy x Sunshine 💓 Slow Burn Romance 💓 Single Mom If you’re into 90s or early 2000s rom-coms, this book is going to make your heart so happy!!🫶🏼😩🩷 The premise is fun and refreshing, and the way the main characters meet? It’s one of the most charming and adorable openings I’ve read in a while! I was immediately hooked and couldn’t stop smiling as I read. Even writing this now makes me feel all warm and giddy again!🤭 Lucie is such a lovable character. She’s kind, funny, a great mom, and honestly feels like someone you’d want in your life. I really appreciated how B.K. Borison wrote her with so much heart and depth. As for Aiden, I wasn’t completely sold on him at first, but that ending changed everything for me!😭🩷 I ended up loving the way their story unfolded and it left me emotional in the best way!🥹🫶🏼 The slow burn was definitely slower than what I usually go for, but the payoff was worth it. I loved the witty banter and the flirty back-and-forth between Lucie and Aiden. Their dynamic had so much tension and sweetness that I didn’t even mind waiting for things to build!✨ The pacing was easy to follow, the plot had just the right amount of depth, and every small moment added something special. It felt like watching a classic rom-com that you can’t help but revisit because it just makes you feel good!🩷 If you love heartfelt romance with a bit of humor, charm, and that old-school rom-com magic, you’ll definitely want to give this one a try!!🩷🙌 (Also, I can only tag 20, sorry if I didn’t tag you but I’m always grateful for the enthusiasm😭🫶🏼🩷 ILY) Q: Have you read this? What’s your thoughts on it?🥹 🏷️: #bookreviewer #firsttimecaller #bkborison #bookrecommendation #bookrecs #bookcommunity #bookstagrammer #bookstagram #books #romancebook #bookobsessed #romanticbook

Onyx Storm by Rebecca Yarros (The Empyrean #3) #bookreview rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (5/5) spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️ (3/5) I don’t even know where to start because wow. I’m absolutely wrecked (in the best way) after finishing Onyx Storm. Rebecca Yarros has done it again. This book took me two whole weeks to get through, but not because I wasn’t into it, I was just savoring every moment while also needing time to breathe between the intensity😮‍💨 When I first picked it up, I’ll be honest, I had no idea what was going on at first because I didn’t reread Iron Flame (big mistake on my part). So, there I was, flipping pages, confused but vibes were good, so I kept going. And let me tell you, once I got back into it, I was hooked. The tension? Insane. The anticipation? Through the roof. I don’t think I’ve ever sat up so straight while reading a book in my life. I swear I went through every emotion possible: joy, anxiety, excitement, devastation, EVERYTHING😩 One of my favorite things about this book is the found family dynamic. The friendships, the sibling bonds, the deep connections between characters, I felt every bit of it. It wasn’t just about the main characters; I cared about everyone. And that’s rare in a book with such a big cast. Every character felt necessary, and the way their relationships grew and evolved felt so natural and meaningful! I think I might have loved Onyx Storm even more than Iron Flame, and that’s saying something. I love fantasy books that lean heavily into adventure and war, and this book delivered. It was epic. The stakes were high, the battles were intense, and I could not get enough🫶🏼😭 If you haven’t started Fourth Wing or picked up Onyx Storm yet, please do yourself a favor and read it. Then come talk to me because I have so many thoughts and need to discuss theories ASAP! Also, Xaden😮‍💨 Q: have you read this? If you have, did you enjoy it?😍 🏷️: #bookstagram #onyxstorm #onyxstormrebeccayarros #bookrecommendations #bookreviewer #bookrecs #bookblog #bookblogger #bookcommunity #bookphotography #booklover #booklove #booktok Onyx storm book review

🌅 Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez #bookreview rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5⭐!!!) spice: 🌶️ (1/5) read if you like: 🩷 book boyfriend material 🩷 unique meet cute 🩷 friends to lovers 🩷 dating pact 🩷 found family Holy wow! I’m giving a standing ovation to this book! 👏 Abby Jimenez has done it again. She has written the best romances featuring the most outstanding male characters. Honestly, based on the cover, I did not expect this book to make me cry! The plot is unique, and I loved how it has a romcom vibe while also bringing so much depth. The characters have their own baggage, which makes them feel realistic, and they are incredibly lovable. I especially loved Maddy! 🥹 The romance is truly captivating! The banter between Emma and Justin is amazing, I couldn’t ask for more! Emma’s forgiveness and Justin’s gentleness are heartwarming. I could feel their chemistry from their very first interaction! The found family in this book truly touched my heart. It evoked such a deep emotional response, and I cherished every moment of it. It was a beautifully moving experience that I adored!🤍 The ending was somewhat unexpected, but I loved how everything resolved. I was particularly impressed by Emma’s character development. If I could turn back time, I would love to experience this book for the first time over and over again! 😭🫶🏼 This post is my request for you to read this book. It is so good, and I want you to experience what I felt while reading it! It’s just SO, SO good! A Novel Love Story by Ashley Poston #bookreview rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) spice: 🌶️ (1/5) read if you like: - a book about books - magical realism - small town romance - slow burn romance Despite all the mixed reviews, I honestly ended up loving this book! The way the main character feels about books? So relatable! I couldn’t help but connect with her love for reading. And the magical realism aspect? It brought such a fresh and fun vibe to the story, I loved it!🥹🫶 That said, I’ll admit, this felt more like a Women’s Fiction novel than a romance. The romance itself had some pacing issues; at times it felt a bit inconsistent. If the romance had been a bit more polished, I honestly would’ve given this 6 stars! But even with that, I couldn’t help but enjoy it so much that I’m giving it 5 stars. I genuinely had a blast reading this!✨ The way I got lost in this book felt just like the premise promised. I couldn’t put it down because I was so invested in not just the main character’s emotional journey, but also the story unfolding in the small fictional town. It’s one of those stories I can see myself revisiting again and again. It’s become my new comfort read!🤍🫶 Elsy, the main character, has such incredible growth throughout the book. Honestly, I loved watching her evolve. Even the supporting characters, especially those from the small town, were so lovable! And Anderson? His presence really added a layer of mystery that kept me hooked. I found myself wanting to understand him more as I read😍 This book felt like it was written just for book lovers like me! The jokes about book boyfriends, self-help books, everything hit so close to home. As a reader, I felt like I was nodding along the whole time🤭 If you’re looking for a magical realism story about books, with a (super slow burn) romance, and set in a small, charming fictional town, I absolutely recommend this one!🩷 anyway, i’m glad i was reading it with @ceritachaty book club on fable!🫶🏼 Q: have you read this?
