Faith cannot thrive in a life disconnected from Christ. If we want to remain consistent in faith, we have to remain conscious of CHRIST. Keep our eyes on Him. Stay in fellowship with Him. Stay in His Word. Stay sensitive to His Spirit. Because Christ isn’t just the One we believe in. Christ is our LIFE. The enemy understands that without faith it is impossible to please God, so one of his greatest strategies is DISTRACTION. If he can pull our attention away from Christ, disrupt our fellowship, and get us focused on what we see, feel, fear, or face, he can attempt to move us out of alignment. But when our eyes remain on Jesus, faith has somewhere to rest. Hebrews 12:2 says, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith…” He is the Author. He is the Finisher. He is the Sustainer. Our responsibility is to KEEP LOOKING. 👀 God is love, and our love for Him produces a desire to remain in fellowship with Him. And when we remain connected to Him, faith continues to work in us through love. You cannot consistently live a life of faith while consistently living disconnected from the One who sustains it. So when life gets loud… LOOK TO JESUS. When fear starts talking… LOOK TO JESUS. When circumstances contradict what God said… LOOK TO JESUS. When you don’t understand what God is doing… KEEP LOOKING TO JESUS. Be intentional about what has your attention. Your focus matters.
