Dreams coming true for the Eastside 💙

I’m honored to share that the Oklahoma City Thunder Community Foundation selected Urban Bridge, Inc. for a $25,000 grant towards programming at the Bridge Impact Center.

Ten short years ago, Urban Bridge was born from the vision of co-founders Marcus Kadence Jackson, Vernon Deas, and James Jackson to infuse hope into the lives of youth. Today, it stands tall as “the pride of the Eastside,” as poetically coined by Gayle Maxwell. Being an inaugural grant recipient of funding from the 2025 NBA Champions, the OKC Thunder, is truly a dream come true for our UB team, and I am immensely grateful to celebrate this win with an organization whose mission I care so deeply for.

Congratulations to the fellow grantees at Cleats4Kids, Pivot - A Turning Point for Youth, and Junior Achievement of Oklahoma!! 🤩

A beautiful fun day in Dallas with my fabulous sister @simplyerinoldfield. Our day started out at Canvas Hotel with a rooftop pool and great downtown views, sunny and 85, perfect! Nighttime we went to see Coldplay at Cotton Bowl stadium, they put on such a fun show! What a fun day! 😍

My amazing sister @simplyerinoldfield and I had a blast at Sweet Tooth, it’s an immersive art museum in Downtown Dallas that has a few artsy rooms to explore and take pics. The last room takes you to an all pink cocktail bar where they serve custom candy tequila cocktails! Perfect for a girls afternoon! 😍🥳

Downtown Fun! @simplyerinoldfield and I walked around Downtown Dallas for exploring some of the cool sites after our visit to Sweet Tooth. We ended our day with a fantastic Turnpike Troubadours concert, what a great day! Erin and I always have so much fun together!

Probably one of the most moving experiences Ive been able to experience on two wheels🙏🏽
.
Our RISE program benefits the youth in underserved communities and elevates them through mentorship and new perspectives. They are rewriting their future through the experience of BMX❤️.
.
I am so proud of these young bright children from the Terence Crutcher Foundation that have continuously impressed me with their tenacity, abilities and resilience!
.
This would not have been possible without the gracious support of our benefactor Hyper Bicycles whose commitment to families and BMX have changed the paths of these rising stars. So thankful for the Hyper family and their generosity.
.
Combine that with the heart of the Oklahoma City Thunder allowing the kids to show off their new skills during the halftime show last week as well as the legendary Danny Boy O’Connor taking the time to talk with the kids about everything from Music, Tulsa, the Outsiders, the power of storytelling and choices in life.
.
I bet the kids never thought they would get to share the floor with BMX Freestyle Olympian, multi X-Games medalist and former World Champion @justindowell_bmx 🔥🔥🔥
.
My heart is full.
