We get asked this a lot? So here’s the honest answer!

We wanted to make sure everyone feels comfortable and safe enough to surrender and just be able to learn and integrate into the yogic lifestyle for 3-weeks. From the shala, to the food, the rooms, and even the common spaces. Every corner at Lanka is beautiful.

It can be overwhelming to pick a YTT, let the place pick you.

Spots are limited.

Meet your teachers. 🤍

We met as students: first in our 300-hour training, then in prenatal. Years of retreats, late-night philosophy talks, and shared practice later, we’re opening the doors to something we’ve dreamed about for a long time.

And we’re not coming alone. Our own teacher, Nitish, is joining us from India.

What makes BHUMI’s 200-hour YTT different?

Philosophy and yoga taught by my own teacher, traveling in from India to join this cohort. Some things you don’t hand off to just anyone.

Ayurveda woven through the curriculum, not as an add-on but as a working framework you can actually use in your own life.

Real conversations on what comes after certification, like building a yoga business, structuring retreats, teaching sustainably.

Set on Koggala Lake, chosen specifically to limit distraction and give you the space and comfort to grow personally, not just professionally.

Here, yoga is not practiced. It’s lived.

Inaugural cohort. April 17 – May 8, 2027. Sri Lanka. Applications now open.
