This is what 308 lbs vs. 168 lbs looks like for me… and the truth is, I barely have photos from 308.

When I was bigger, I hid from the camera. You’d get my face, maybe a carefully cropped picture, but almost never a full-body photo.

So I had ChatGPT create this visual for me to show the comparison 140 pounds apart.

Last Saturday, I took the full-length picture. I stood in front of the camera and I let myself be seen.

And honestly? That confidence means just as much to me as the number on the scale. ❤️

NO means NO. Incapacitated means CAN’T consent. And women are done staying quiet.

So yeah… I’m singing Break Stuff because the allegations surrounding the Cornell Seven have me fucking furious.

Ladies, keep making noise. Stand together. Teach your kids consent. Speak up when something isn’t right. Protect the person who can’t protect themselves in that moment.

We are NOT normalizing this bullshit.

Stop saying you “ONLY” lost 5 pounds. Or 10. Or 20

You still did the work. You still showed up. You still moved forward.

And please stop giving yourself these random deadlines like you have to lose X amount by summer, your birthday, vacation, or some imaginary finish line.

It does not matter how long it takes.

Progress is progress, and the goal is still the goal. Keep going. ❤️

I’m done acting like eating is something I need to hide or feel guilty about. My bariatric journey doesn’t mean I have to sit in a corner with three bites of chicken and apologize for existing.

I’m gonna order the food, chew the hell out of it, enjoy what I can, take the rest home, and mind my damn business. 😌

My plate is not a group project. You worry about your fork, I’ll worry about mine.

I am so rich in life. 🥹🩵 Not because of what I have, but because of WHO God has placed in my life.

I have my sisters. My safe spaces. My prayer warriors. My hype women. The women who celebrate me when I win, hold me when life gets heavy, remind me who I am when I forget, and love me through every version of myself.

Thank you, Jesus. 😭🙏🏾

There were seasons when I prayed for genuine friendships. I prayed for women with good hearts. Women I could trust. Women I could laugh with, cry with, grow with, pray with, dream with—and just DO LIFE with.

And God answered those prayers by sending me these amazing women. 🥹

When I look around at my life, I realize just how wealthy I really am.

I am rich in love.
Rich in sisterhood.
Rich in memories.
Rich in people who genuinely want to see me win.

And THAT is a kind of wealth money could never buy.

My sisters, I love you more than I probably say. Thank you for showing up for me, loving me, covering me, and reminding me that I never have to do life alone.

God knew exactly who I needed. And He sent me y’all. 🩵😭🙏🏾
