First Post on my public account! I had the privilege and pleasure of test knitting the Autumn Bloom hat by @aggie_knits ! This is a great stash buster and I couldn’t stop knitting it! I hadn’t used a cable chart before and it had been awhile since I knitted cables at all- but overcoming those hurdles made it all the more satisfying to knit!

Cosy knit night! About to start the colorwork on the #wildflowertee by @elenormortensen using some of the gorgeous yarn I got from @vikingfiberco at @flockfiberfestival this year! Along with my absolute favorite new sheep stitch marker from @denim.and.rain

I finally got around to putting all my Flock makers stickers on my lap desk. Each one makes me smile and remember the beautiful makers behind them. I tried to tag everyone represented in the photo.

Got a treat, got my drink, phone will have British TV to keep me motivated! Gonna be a good, good night!

Guys!! Thank you SO much!!

This was one of my first months with no new releases and honestly I was really nervous to see how I’d do.

We had a transmission to fix on a car and it had me checking my phone quite a lot not gonna lie. Every time I saw a sale go through I said a little thank you🫶🏻 like actually 😅

This was such a confidence boost for me in my designing, and I cannot wait to show you everything I have planned.

I have 3 designs in testing currently (one of which will be released for FREE once I hit 10k followers as a thank you)

I have 3 other patterns (almost) ready for tech editing and then they’ll go into testing

PLUS 2 more I need to write up that are knit up

AND 3 more collabs in the works!!

Picked up some lovely yarn and notions at Flock this year! Crossing my fingers that I can show a wrap up picture with all my finished projects from Flock 2025 and 2026 BEFORE Flock 2027. Not pictured are a few more skeins from Golden Hour Knitwear’s Dark Academia online preorder and Viking Fiber Co’s new base that were sold out already at the show, but that he generously took orders for.

I got less yarn this year, but more goodies! 2 favorite dyers, 3 new ones, and I got allllll the stitch markers I wanted from my favorite maker. Found some others last minute that I think I'm going to love, and got 2 new sets of needle stoppers. Tagged all the makers.
Got to see all the peeps, spend time with my yarn bestie, met new ones that made me laugh, shared similarities with, and chatted with random makers the whole time.
Overslept my alarm and panic showered and packed in record time to get checked out on time, sat and listened to Flock talks that were a laugh and a half. Wound some yarn, and am on the ferry home, so tired, but happy. Will probably regret how busy this coming week is after this weekend! 🤣🥱🫠
Huge thanks to Jess @shoplamercerie @flockfiberfestival for her incredibly hard work making this amazing community event happen each year, and it being such a positive and warm experience.

When @aggie_knits first posted a pic of this sweater I messaged her immediately and said hey this looks just like Sainte-Chapelle in Paris. lolz She said yep that was my inspiration and I was like well you certainly nailed it because it was my first thought! So when she put out a test call I got super brave and applied because I wanted to make this as soon as possible. The pattern IS ✨flawless. ✨The colorwork sooo much fun to knit. And the details like the split hem and the contrasting cuff and hem? LOVE This pattern has many modifications available to fit all of our changing bodies and includes information about how to make this super nursing mom friendly. I breastfed each of my three boys until they self weaned. I think I added it up once and I have spent about 8 years of my life breastfeeding! Finding clothes to make those years a touch easier? Not easy. But a knitting pattern? I mean it just didn’t exist. Now Devin @aggie_knits has a lot of patterns and more to come that you can make! You can love your ever changing body and make garments that work for all stages of life. I love that she does this and I hope that everyone supports her by hopping over to ravelry and checking out her patterns. 🫶🏼

I have included a few photos I took of the inspiration, Sainte-Chapelle. I was in Paris for work & super stressed out but had one day to see the city so I made this insane itinerary to hit as much spots as possible and I hit the ground running to try and see as much as I could. Well. I walked into Sainte-Chapelle and the light coming in from these windows stopped me right in my tracks. And I was able to breathe for the first time in a long time. If you are ever in Paris I highly encourage you to stop by. The pictures do not do it justice. It’s absolutely incredible. I did eventually leave and made it to the mothership Louis Vuitton store to treat myself 💁🏻‍♀️ (it’s called balance 😂)

The yarn is from @sincerefiberco and is absolutely a dream to work with. No dye transfer!! I mean top tier quality, I will be a return customer that is FOR SURE. And that Gooey colorway for the colorwork? It lights my brain up I love it so much.
