Photo Series Description: Pieces of Me

Pieces of Me is a powerful visual narrative celebrating the beauty, diversity, and unity of Black women. Inspired by women of all shades, this photo series seeks to challenge narrow standards of beauty and redefine representation. Though our features may vary skin tone, eye shape, hair texture we are united in womanhood, humanity, and strength.

Shot through the lenses of three visionary African American female photographers @stokesave.don , @toymr_1, & @2uesdai. Pieces of Me is both a love letter to Black women and a call to honor the individuality within our collective identity. More than just a photo project, this series is a movement to empower and elevate. It provides paid opportunities for models in the creative community, offering space for authenticity, visibility, and growth.

Every frame tells a story. Every shade is a piece of the whole. Together, we are Pieces of Me.
