Still wondering how the panels come together to make the sari? Here's an example!

Have you been wondering how to make your panel for the Infinite Sari? Are you wondering how these long, thin panels will make the sari? Well, my friend and I recently made some sari panels using the printable paper template, to show the process in this video!

"Infinite Sari" is for everyone.

In popular culture today, Draupadi is most often shown wearing a sari. However, the epic is traditionally dated to centuries or millennia BCE, and describes Draupadi as wearing an antariya, a gender-neutral unstitched garments that predates the stereotypically feminine sari (and dhoti) by centuries.

"Infinite Sari" is a concession to popular imagination; "Infinite Antariya" or "Infinite Vastra" would have been a more "accurate" project title, would equally describe the digital and fabric output of this project, and would better reflect the gender-neutral intent of this project, because abuse is abuse and can be perpetrated and experienced by anyone of any gender.

Thrilled to share that "Infinite Sari" is now 28% funded, and we'll have the chance to create at least one fabric version of the sari! 🥳🥳🥳 So excited to see the fabric version turn out. A digital version is one thing, but a fabric version is a shelf stable hug (if a shelf stable hug is your thing) in a physical, drapable, truly one-size-fits-all-humans form!

Also! We now have a sari panel template, for those wanting to create their panels on paper and scan them in to share with us! If you'd like to get a head start on your panel, please take a look!

Why do we have fire, tornado, earthquake, and active shooter drills, but no abuse drills?

Let's fix that. “Infinite Sari” is a project for us to start practicing how to help someone you love facing abuse. It’s skill development, a social movement, an art project, and a fundraiser (we're committing 10% of funds raised to @rakshainc, the Atlanta survivor-advocacy group).

We’re on our way to the 51 backers we need to make our first version of the sari. Come be a part of the project!

Latinas are tired and annoyed. But we are still building.

This week Rep. Brandon Gill asked the director of the National Museum of American History what Latina power is. Here’s a multitude of answers:

✨Jen and Vero, who are building @shopjzd and contributing to one of the leading cohorts of new business generators in the United States. (From our interview in @monedamoves)

✨The day ones who show up for you like family not for what you can offer but your presence alone. We rep Mexico, India, Vietnam, the U.S.

✨Collaborating with value aligned business owners and storyteller who fill Times Square one week and show up with a folding table the next

✨ The friends we show up at the launch and troughs for, and not just at the win

✨ A classroom of teenagers you can share wisdom with it took you a decade to learn

In spite of wage inequality, labor exploitation and erasure, we still build. The best bring co-creators along with them.

💪🏽 That’s exceptional Latina power. It’s more than appropriate.

heyyyy… you free June 15th??

Before my dad developed arthritis, he was a musician and painter. I feel a connection to art partly because it’s in my genes, but also to continue to share the stories of my roots, ancestors, the beauty of India, and the experiences living in between these 2 cultures ~

I want to hear from you, your thoughts and experiences sitting w the same feelings - I know I’m not alone.

So I invite you to come share - art is everywhere!

Reserve your calendar on 6/15 at 6pm!!! RSVP in bio 🙌

A concept I’ve been interested in lately is the idea of inconvenience. We’re always chasing convenience, it makes us more efficient. But what are the pros of staying inefficient?

Slowing down. I think slowing down is a great thing. We should protect our down time 🫶

[art, painting, meditation, slowing down, seek discomfort, play, create, creative, move slower]

I predict 2026 will have a lot more

… love through honesty
… sovereignty in action
… living because it is short
… unapologetic pursuit of our higher purpose

She’s called the year of the horse. Amid the chaos of the world, 2026 is unbridled, embodying dynamism, strength, and passion. And good riddance at that! I’ve been so ready to ride 🐎🔥
