On October 5, Condé Nast Traveller unveiled its Top 50 Restaurants 2026 in Goa.
Over the years, the Top Restaurant Awards (TRA) has become one of our most valuable and trusted IPs. Diners across India — and increasingly travellers from around the world, thanks to the global reach of Condé Nast Traveller — use this list to discover where to eat.
This year, we took TRA to Goa. And honestly, what better place? With its booming food scene, beaches, energy and relaxed vibe, it was the perfect setting to come together, connect and celebrate.
Congratulations to all our winners!
And a very special call-out to @restaurantnaar and @prateeksadhu. A restaurant that started just three years ago is today the #1 restaurant in the country. What an incredible journey — and a testament to the hard work, passion and dedication behind it!
Mumbai and Goa led the list with 13 restaurants each, followed by Bengaluru [6], Chennai [4], Kolkata [4], Delhi NCR [4] and other cities [6].
It was especially exciting to see two restaurants from Shillong and a restaurant from Karaikudi make it to the Top 50 — a wonderful reflection of how India’s food story is expanding well beyond the traditional culinary capitals.
Behind this list are 105 jury members, who evaluated restaurants from across the country to arrive at the final Top 50. A huge thank you to each of them for the time, thought and rigour that goes into creating this list.

Our South Side Story x @bili.hu.coffee workshop took guests through the stories and traditions behind South Indian Filter Coffee, with live brewing, a fun pouring challenge, regional coffee rituals, making their own coffee cones and even piping cream into them before ending with a hands-on coffee scrub session to take home.

A morning filled with coffee, conversations, new discoveries and a little bit of South Indian culture in every cup.
