Here is another shot from ‘Tom Yum Punch’, the film we are making @sipsoupstudio ! I wish i could share the animatic edit, but we’ll share it in full soon!

We have such wonderful work done by a multitude of different artists, including boards, layouts, animation, bg paint and now even with some comp starting! I am biased ofc but please believe me. The soup is cooking!! :)

I had the immense pleasure of painting this background from the BEAUTIFUL layout done by @duruushii . Lucy has added so much character, personality and life to this environment that made painting it nothing but a privilege! Also, I cannot wait for you to see the same shot with @blackjingertee ‘s animation on it! (it’s fantastic)

We will keep sharing work and updates soon! :)

Hi!👋 Long time no see! This is a background painting for the film I am co-directing with @crooomps at @sipsoupstudio. This background was a huge learning journey as the style, technique and approach kept changing in order to fit the film’s needs. I am very happy & proud of how it turned out! I learned a lot and I am very excited to share more soon! :) ✌️

I want to give a special thanks to @lorenzo_lanfranconi for giving me great advice and feedback recently during his workshop at @lagaleriaroja. The suggestions were phenomenal and helped to pull me out from the rut I was stuck in!

If this is the first time you see me posting about this project, please go check out our page at @sipsoupstudio we post more work like this and a bunch of other things and features related to the project. 🦐🍄‍🟫

Background Kitchen for an upcoming project/short film some friends and I am working on.

This was… intense haha but really fun and fulfilling to do. It was really good pushing myself to do this and I am very proud of the end result!
