When you don’t have money to make a movie but have dear friends who are incredible actors, some rain, a camera, and @anneuemura as MVP (aka the best camera assistant ever!!) this is what happens.

A strange melancholy fell over all of us during this shoot.

Thank you @sir.constance and @alexisaube53 for being the most devoted subjects. Thank you for the immense heart you bring to everything you do. Thank you for building this world with me and for inhabiting it so convincingly. Thank you for your vulnerability and for always giving me hope in love ❤️. Somebody hire them for your movie, dammit!!

I keep asking myself, “where do I put all the love?” For now it goes here.

Direction, photos, and styling by your gal.

I think this is one of the most special moments we had on set. It was like everyone came together in synchrony… We were all there dancing with Nicole.

@fab_taillefer made the camera her dance partner.

@griot.sekeman ‘s beautiful live music gave the moment a beating heart.

@sir.constance gave Nicole her entire being.

And Henri… so tender and present..

@sintamour composed a song that aches as Nicole aches.

@kimalbertmusic gave Nicole’s silence the most beautiful, poignant voice in the last moments of the film.

Music features the beautiful playing of @laurietorres (percussion), @malbass (bass), @alexfr.paradis (accordéon) and jipé dalpé (flugelhorn).

@tania.shwain built Noah and Nicole’s world by hand.

Written and directed by your gal.

“ It was the first time that either one of them had been seen. And, as if to thank each other, they emitted light. “

One of my favourite scenes from Noah et Nicole.

Performed by the magnificent @sir.constance and Henri Duval.

Shot straight from the heart by the wonderful @fab_taillefer and featuring the idiosyncratic magic of @tania.shwain ‘s art direction.

Sound recorded by the lovely: @griot.sekeman and @franquoi

Written and directed by your gal and translated by my favourite playwright: @jccharlebois
