The all-star lineup for
💐 picking wildflowers:
a show of whimsical flowery sparkly goodness by @helloitspansy x @glue.amsterdam 💐 (tagline is by me and not from either organization hahaha 😅)

It feels so validating for my work to be shown alongside all of these artists and makers 💗

Please take some time to peek into the show at pansy, or have a look at all these other makers' pages (i tagged them in the photo 4 yew (uwu))

thank you for the space and the opportunity and the flowers, I'm so sad I can't see it in person :'(

*group exhibition* - I am excited to be part of the 'Picking Wildflowers' group show @helloitspansy 🌼 It's wonderful to be among a creative group of Asian women creating ceramics from around the world!

The 'Picking Wildflowers' group show is part of @glue.amsterdam , a city-wide open studio celebration of design. The show runs from September 14th to 17th, so if you happen to be in Amsterdam, be sure to drop by! 🤗

please join us 🥰

here's the last three sweaty days of install, it's been long hard hours but it's coming together so beautifully (extra thanks to @bodieh for your support🥹)

so proud of this group exhibition of 10 international ceramic makers, thank you for trusting me with your work 🩷 it's a really special project as all the artists have asian backgrounds and this is my asian girl gang forming in the shape of a pinky flowery exhibition 🌸🩷🌸💖💝🌷🎀 as part of @glue.amsterdam

hooly dooly its going to be a special show 🥹 this is one of my favourite things about running pansy: being able to bring together artists that i love & admire so much all into one space to share their work 🏺💐

💐PICKING WILDFLOWERS💐 is programmed as part of @glue.amsterdam which is a city-wide open studio celebration of design, i reached out to David & Guus earlier this year about wanting to participate because I wanted to make an exhibition that specifically brought together an international curation of asian women making ceramics that are playful, heartfelt and a little bit cheeky 🤠

the title of the exhibition "picking wildflowers" references one of my favourite childhood karaoke songs 「路邊的野花不要採」sung by Teresa Teng (鄧麗君) in which she asks a lover to not pick the roadside wildflower, however this exhibition is a very deliberate, joyful (and nostalgic - i miss gathering flowers so much!!) way of picking artists (my wildflowers) into a bountiful luscious bouquet (the exhibition) 💐❤️

swipe along to see our participating artists & some of their work ✨

and of course please feel welcome to join us for opening celebrations:

📅 wednesday 13 september
🕕 6.00 - 8.00pm
📍 pansy - czaar peterstraat 68, amsterdam
👪 everyone is welcome to join

Sometimes I forget how beautiful the space is; how incredibly lucky I am to have met such amazing artists, designers, clients, to have built a community with them; how hard I’ve worked to make it happen; and how important it is to be kind to myself- slow down to savor the moments in this journey 🌿

The concept is “Art and Fashion Gallery” and without the support of my gorgeous talented artists friends this dream wouldn’t have turned into reality @elizabethbergeland @kayseohyunglee @sirealdesign @smellslikecrime @malonejewelry @the.quanti @halle__ballard

Excited to exhibit more female artists from Philly and New York. Stay tuned for our next gallery opening night featuring paintings, photography, and sculptures from @kaarinamackenzie @black_menagerie @mayopaste @lasha_stewart @pafacademy
