Can I get a frig yeah for RECOVERY IN REVELSTOKE 🙌✨

One of my favourite parts of Bali was the recovery culture, so I’m super stoked we have more of it here now!!

Just like I believe with movement: if something feels good to you, do it! If it doesn’t, then don’t. Your body is pretty good at telling you what it needs 💗

Personally, I’ve always loooved a cold plunge. It gives me a little boost when I’m feeling sluggish, feels amazing when I’m sore, or sometimes I just need that ZAP 🧊⚡️

And I’m a tropical baby, sooo of course I love the sauna 😂🔥

And don’t even get me started on red light therapy… unless you want me to 👀

Anyways, veryyy stoked to have this little recovery haven in town!! 💗

Dark Horse was created to deepen the women’s freeride field and build community. I saw a huge gap between the young, up and coming freeriders and big stage events, there wasn’t really a platform for them to showcase their skills and have the chance to be invited to bigger events.

The Academy: a 5 day intensive program with on and off bike lessons from the best established freeriders in the sport @silverstarbikepark

The Jam: 3 days of rider judged, jam style format. The best freeriders in the world and the top Academy riders get to showcase their skills and vote on the rider that gets a @naturalselectionbike invite!

An “on-ramp” where you can come out of nowhere and end up at one of the prestigious freeride events in the world!

This is the next generation of Rampage riders coming up, so look out!

Some fun things to do when it’s smoky in Revelstoke!

Revelstoke has been experiencing smoky conditions and reduced air quality. No wildfires are threatening the town of Revelstoke and it is safe to travel in Revelstoke.

Visit IQAir.com for air quality forecasts.

There are many more low impact & indoor activities in town. Check out our “Wildfire Resources” page linked in our bio.

The perfect way to spend a Monday Morning.

Going from deep radiating heat to the icy contraction of the plunge truly wakes up every sensation in your body. I left feeling so rejuvenated and ready to take on the world.

Thank you @sisuspatherapy for the amazing upgrade to a private room, @bafaro23 and I will definitely be back!

Revelstoke’s new Nordic spa. ☁️

We tried the private contrast experience (sauna & cold plunge)

There’s also a communal contrast area, plus massages if you’re looking to fully relax.

Towels and cold drinking water provided!

Fun fact! Saunas are great in the summer to help your body adapt to the heat. They’re also excellent for muscle recovery after summer adventures.

Wow… finally did it!! @sisuspatherapy ✔️ Hot and cold pluge! 🤘🏻👌🏻😌❤️💙
This is exactly the yin my yang lifestyle has been missing. Between chasing wild toddlers and living in that high-adrenaline powersports world, I’m pretty much always on the go.
I’ve always been a bit of a nerd when it comes to whole health—whole foods, nutrition, and training—but I’m realizing this is a huge missing piece. Lately I’ve been making a real effort to slow things down, create space to rest, and actually restore some balance.
.
My first cycle as a first timer :
• 20 min infrared sauna
• 4 min cold plunge
• 20 min infrared sauna
• 4 min cold plunge
.
How powersports riders would benefit :
• Helps support recovery after long, demanding rides.
• Can help reduce soreness and keep you feeling ready for the next session.
• Gives your mind and body a reset so you can stay sharp when it matters most.
.
There’s a lot of science behind infrared sauna for post-exercise recovery, including reduced soreness and better perceived recovery, and cold plunge is widely used for recovery after intense training.
.
Added to the maintenance rountine 🤘🏻👌🏻😌🤍
