She refused to be forgotten 🩰

We’re thrilled to share the key art for Little Dancer, a lush and emotionally charged musical telling the story of Marie van Goethem, the young dancer behind one of the world's most recognisable works of art.

From our first campaign conversations and photoshoot in New York to seeing the final artwork come together, it's been a privilege to work alongside such an incredible team. We're immensely proud of what has been achieved in such a short amount of time and excited for audiences to discover this beautiful production ✨

We recently redesigned & built the new website for Titanique @criterion_theatre.

The brief? To convey the FUN of the show & bring it to life on the website, with a mobile first focus. It’s such a brilliantly bonkers show - we adored it!

This was a real team effort, between ourselves, Situation UK Marketing agency, EMG Marketing Agency & Michael Harrison Entertainment 💕💕💕

Excellent key art by Ant Donovan at donovangraphics.com 🫶

Thank you very much for the opportunity, EMG, Situation & Michael Harrison Entertainment 🙏🙏🙏 - DREAM TEAM

Ps Myra Dubois stars from 1st September - if you get a chance - go see it!

Reflecting on last week's visit to Ashdown Forest with the RLF's Royal Patron, HM The Queen, as we celebrated 100 years of Winnie-the-Pooh and the enduring legacy of AA Milne. 🍯
Joined by Gyles Brandreth, our Chief Executive Edward Kemp, celebrated children's authors Sita Brahmachari, Dame Julia Donaldson, Axel Scheffler, Cerrie Burnell and Jane Riordan, along with the winners and judges of the Ashdown Forest poetry competition, it was a joyful day of stories, readings and, of course, a game of Pooh Sticks.
As one of the beneficiaries of AA Milne's literary estate, the Royal Literary Fund is proud to continue supporting writers through his remarkable legacy.

“There are no books without writers, and some writers need a friend. The Royal Literary Fund is one of the best friends a writer could have.”
Joined by HM The Queen, and hosted by Gyles Brandreth alongside our Chief Executive, Edward Kemp, we celebrated 100 years of AA Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh at Ashdown Forest.
From a game of Pooh Sticks to conversations with some of today’s most celebrated children’s writers, it was a joyful celebration of storytelling, reading and AA Milne’s enduring legacy, which continues to support and inspire writers today.

Today was a very special day as we celebrated one hundred years of Winnie-the-Pooh and AA Milne’s legacy with RLF’s Royal Patron, HM The Queen in the One Hundred Acre Wood.

A game of Pooh Sticks was hosted by Gyles Brandreth and our Chief Executive Edward Kemp, who were joined by some of today’s most celebrated children’s writers - Sita Brahmachari, Dame Julia Donaldson, Axel Scheffler, Cerrie Burnell and Jane Riordan – as well as winners and judges of the Ashdown Forest poetry competition.

Axel Scheffler won the first of three games of 'Pooh Sticks', receiving a pot of honey from Her Majesty to celebrate his victory! Congratulations Axel!

AD 🚢 Titanique (Relaxed) - 31/05/26 | The Criterion Theatre

I went along to the first West End relaxed performance of Titanique, and as an autistic theatre fan, it felt so special. 💙

The Criterion had chill out spaces, fidget toys, a show relay, partially raised house lights, no loud hand dryers, and the freedom to come and go as needed.
There were no production changes, so the show itself stayed the same - but the environment was much more flexible and accessible.

I also love that this was for a chaotic, camp, adult humour filled show, not just a family production.

More of this please. 👏

💥 Sensory tips:

General:
* Musical numbers often use bright moving lights over the audience.
* The sound mix is loud, especially during band reveals and big numbers.
* Cast members interact with the first few rows and enter via the stalls, but audience members aren’t brought on stage or asked to take part. Front row = lots of eye contact and jokes.

ACT 1:
* After the pre-show announcement, Céline says “Shall we go for it?” followed by a blackout, overture, moving lights over the audience, and a loud audio mix.
* Around 3 mins in, Céline says “That’s not how I remember it” followed by a loud band reveal and quick costume change.
* Blackout to end Act 1.

ACT 2:
* 11 mins - During “I Drove All Night,” the Seaman says “Iceberg right ahead” followed by a blackout, flashing lights, and loud noises.
* 13 mins in - Céline says “Miss Tina Turner” followed by a short white flashing-light moment across the set during the drum fill.
* 16 mins - The set flashes again at the end of the “River Deep, Mountain High” chorus.
* 23 mins - During “Seduces Me,” Cal uses a plastic gun aimed at Rose and Jack, with sci-fi-style shooting sounds during the final chorus.
* Short blackout to end Act 2.

🕐 Timings:
* Act 1: 58mins
* Interval: 17mins
* Act 2: 47mins
* Curtain up to curtain down: 14:33 - 16:35

🎫 Titanique has extended at the Criterion Theatre through January 2027. Check their socials for future access performances.
