You just had to be there....

It was an absolute honour and pleasure to create this moment in the heart of Ghana. Last month, we got together at @palmmoments to celebrate storytelling, music and poetry. Our voice actors, writers, poets, muscians and storytellers allowed us to craft such a beautiful evening. I look forward to next time. A massive thank you to our wonderful collaborators @artopiia_gh @officialianjap @ghanavoiceactors_community @afropark.creatives @creativesgh_ and @new.comma - together with @tixdotafricagh .

They come carrying stories,
of home and hunger, of love and loss,
of becoming in a city that never stops speaking.
Each voice is a chapter.
Each poem, a turning point. 🌿

These poets do not simply perform,
they remember, they witness, they name what often goes unsaid.
Their words are shaped by lived moments,
carried on breath, released into the room.

Meet the poets of Once Upon A Time in Accra,
where stories are not just read from pages,
but are lived.✨

Satire, corruption, and biting political commentary from a Nobel laureate.
Soyinka’s long-awaited return to fiction is a tour de force—chaotic, clever, and deeply Nigerian.
📚 A must-read for literary lovers and truth-seekers alike.
