CATERINA GOBBI

As part of THE ATRIUM SHOW, within The Windows Room, @sixzeroeighteightone sets an electric guitar in motion through flowers.

In La terra ripete la mia voce nella tua (2026), organic matter meets the apparatus of amplified sound. The title repeats a line from Salvatore Quasimodo’s poem Non ho perduto nulla, suggesting a voice that passes between bodies and is echoed by the earth.

Gobbi’s punk intervention on the wall sharpens the work’s refusal to remain merely poetic.

THE ATRIUM SHOW, presented by @durazzimilano, September 22-27, at Atrium Durazzi.

Dont miss it!
In the artistic practice of Caterina Gobbi, sound and interference, often incorporating field recordings, play
a particular role, culminating in her sound performance at the exhibition’s finissage on 16th Oct 18:00.
Address: Wilhelmsaue 1, 10715 Berlin (Entrance Bundesallee 47)
@sixzeroeighteightone

In her latest work, an aluminum print poetically titled “for a moment, I forgot about the existence of
the sky” (2026). It is part of a series Gobbi has been creating for some time by scanning grass and soil with
a handheld scanner, resulting in a fragmented piece of ground being depicted rather than a single, specific
plant.
