Started off the week with some movement as we always try to now @mrssarahfisher has a flexi schedule 🙌🏻
We’ve been keen to try @ikigai_strength so took advantage of their FREE first class and it was superb!!!

Hot, sweaty and a crackin’ workout with great coffee and post workout yummies @ikigaiwellnesshub next door, thanks @ashcunninghamx

We took a post workout walk, had a nap, then finished up our movement Monday with a 6pm PiYo session, equally as hot, sweaty & crackin’ 😆

If you haven’t tried an IKIGAI session yet, get booked on and report back, I’m confident you’ll be singing from the rooftops too (or melting into a puddle of your own perspiration 💦 😆)

Can’t wait for their next stage upstairs, more heat 🔥 , a cold plunge 🥶 and some soul destroying equipment to take fitness to the next level.

PiYo 2 for 1 offer

To celebrate the launch of a new PiYo block where everyone starts from the same point learning the new sections, progressing week after week on the movements and poses, Flex has the perfect offer to kickstart your Power Pilates journey!!

Grab yourself the next 8 week course for the price of 4 weeks 🤯😱😲 that’s just £3.75 per session (£30)

Start date Tues 21st October, the new round will take us nicely up to 16th December.

PiYo offers benefits of Pilates and Yoga with an added low impact, high energy fitness element. It’s highly addictive and will leave you feeling fabulously fit and energised.

Start on those fitness goals before the festive season and find a new passion for working on your flexibility, balance, coordination and strength goals.
PiYo is a great addition to any running or gym program where stretching is not prioritised, PiYo makes flexibility training fun and there are modifications offered so it’s adaptable to ability 🤩

Limited offer spaces available, DM to secure your spot.

Come to a PiYo class with me 🧘🏻‍♀️🤸🏻‍♀️

I still receive a blank look when I talk about PiYo so I’ll try to explain as best I can and just hope that you’ll be inspired to book a class and try it out to see how incredible it is.

A PiYo class provides a full hour broken down into tracks, each working on improving Balance, Coordination, Flexibility, Strength and Core, basically the benefits of Pilates & Yoga (Pi / Yo) but with the addition of an aerobic element throughout, oh boy do we sweat and get that heart pumping🫀

You don’t have to do the full hour and can dip in and out as you please so please do not be put off by the time we are exercising, there are modifications throughout and you can take as much rest as you like, no pressure whatsoever 😘

If you think you don’t have the flexibility, coordination or strength to try PiYo then you couldnt be more wrong, this is literally how we get there, by repetition of the round (8 weeks to be precise) and we see week after week improvements of all of the above, clients look back and can’t believe how much they have achieved, it doesn’t feel easier, we just get better and push more 💪🏻 🤩

Yes it feels tough at the start but what new hobby or form of fitness isn’t?!? You have to be a beginner at something to be better at something so please please please don’t be put off by thinking you have to be good at PiYo to join in our classes.
As the instructor I lose timing, go wrong, wobble on balance moves and I’ve even been known to fall over when and I’m taking the class and balancing on one leg, all adds to the fun I say!

Grab your first Tuesday class FREE and join in the giggles, heck you might even witness me toppling over to 🤭

Classes are:
Tuesday (6.15pm) @thestudioartscollective Prestatyn - booking links in Bio

Thursday (6am) Rhyl Leisure Centre @dll_clubs - book direct with DLL

After all the planning and prep, Prosecco PiYo seemed to fly by but they l say “time flies when you’re having fun” right!

Prosecco PiYo you were fabulous!! 🩵💚 thank you to @thestudioartscollective for the amazing venue, I adore holding weekly classes here 🫶🏼

I went straight from our PiYo party to a 65th birthday bash that saw us partying until the early hours, I don’t think I’ll ever learn that I can no longer handle the late nights and endless booze!

Anyhoo, the Sunday studio clean up was just what I needed to chase away the hangover.

Bursting 100’s of balloons was just the best feeling too 🤣

Highlights of the event to follow this week 👀 thank you to everyone who reached out with lovely comments about the event, it’s my absolute pleasure and a huge thank you to my helpers @mrssarahfisher @clarebickerstaff @l9_acf @joyceholland529 xx 😘

There genuinely is no better time to try PiYo than at the start of a new round.

Round 61 is launching this week - new moves - new music 💃🎶🤸🏻‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️🎉

If you’re new to the PiYo hype (where have you been hiding 😆) each round is run for 8 weeks giving us chance to learn the round as a class, progress the movements, up the intensity, continually making improvements as the weeks tick by - 8 weeks is all I ask from you and see where it takes you/us!

PiYo is an hour long class but you can do as much or as little as you like, there is no pressure to do it all, just do you hun 😘 plus it never feels like an hour, we have a giggle 🤭

first class is FREE, PAYG and monthly options available.

own yoga mat preferred but option to borrow one at the start

People think they have to be coordinated or flexible to do PiYo but how will you ever improve if you don’t start working on improving ?!? 🧠

PiYo CAN be intense but you get out of a session what you put in so do not be put off if you feel it’s too much at the start, you can take more rest during tracks and build up slowly and there are modifications if you need to take it down a notch, you’ll be amazed how quickly your fitness and flexibility improves.

The slides show a run through a PiYo session with my husband who as a rugby player neglects his stretching which can lead to injury. He did amazing for his first class so I just had to include him in the filming from slide 3, you’ll see that you don’t need to be perfect and some things you can adapt.

Come and try a class out and see for yourself. Book your first class FREE, link in bio.

Vimto Energy made me do it 🙈🤷🏻‍♀️

Exhausted by the heat and being out in the blazing sun all day with no where near enough water, I grabbed a quick pick me up cold can of fizzy pop on route to teach PiYo and it ended in this 😆

Never again will I consume an energy drink, I fear for mine or others lives or what will come out of my mouth 🤪

Between round shenanigans at its finest 😜 I think 2 & 4 are my personal faves 🥸
