✨It is a truth universally acknowledged...✨

Pride and Prejudice rebind by the lovely @sjs_binding featuring art by @alemonleaf

Help, I can't believe I've had this book in my hands FOR WEEKS, and I haven't shared how absolutely gorgeous it is.

The physical book is the copy I bought myself from Barnes & Noble in 7th grade. It's moved with me to three different states. Sat on many a bookshelf. The cover was a disaster and it deserved a revamp. It's now something to be cherished, and passed down, and I can't get over how incredible it is.

Thank you @sjs_binding for making my idea come to life. Thank you @alemonleaf for the use of this incredible piece of art.

Phew. I'm emotional over a book. Sounds right.

HAPPY #clamjamexchange26 hosted by the wonderful @sjs_binding 🍃My clamshell went to @aurelian_library 🤎
For the bind I went with An Ever-Fixed Mark by the indomitable Ninepiecesofcrait. I adore this fic!! I had the crazy idea of making an illusion clamshell, where you don’t know it’s a box at first! I wanted it to feel like it belongs in the bluebell forest scene. Making this was so fun!! Side note: anyone need a large amount of faux moss?? ‘Cause I know a gal 😂 I used faux treebark with flexible backing, faux moss, brown bookcloth, and peel and stick wallpaper to line the inside.
I hope you like it Lauren!! Still pictures to come!

(P.s. ignore the tiny hand in the reel. I didn’t see that until way later haha)

HOSTILE NEGOTIATION TACTICS by Ninepiecesofcrait

This fic!!! There were several moments I gasped out loud reading this. Nine is perfection itself. For our trade, @sjs_binding and I decided to be as spicy as possible with the bind design, and wowowow it was a blast to make. Major shout out to the fabulous @omniluci.estumbra for the wholesome sketches 🤭🤭 you’re amazing Jamie!!

I wanted the design to feel like it was sketched on parchment paper, with a Valentine twist! Chapter headers are file folders and Hermione’s massive wall calendar is featured on the cover.

Free to read on AO3! And the sketches can be fully seen over on Jamie’s 🦋
