Seattle dump! Very short time in the city (1.5 days?) as most of our time was spent in Olympic NP, but we got lots of good eats in🍴

@kinlenbar very very tasty Thai food in Fremont!! I loved this “2 in 1 pork rice” featuring braised ham hock, crispy pork belly, pickled mustard green, gai lan, and egg.

@kinlenbar chicken pad thai

@kinlenbar happy hour fish sauce wings

@shopatulea aggressively adorable coffee shop w plenty of fun drinks, asian flavors, and cute knickknacks for sale. Even the cup sleeves come in custom adorable patterns 🥲 pictured is the strawb shortcake latte!

@skalkacafe Georgian bakery serving one thing and doing it right: khachapuri! Lil breakfast boats with egg, cheese, butter, and your choice of protein. Their crust has so much bounce to it, it’s v satisfying to mix up the middle and dip 💃

@mollymoonicecream a few locations but I liked this one by the water. Fun flavors and toppings - I got the yeti (vanilla + caramel swirl + pumpkin seed granola) and baracky road (like rocky road, but w hazelnuts) topped w toasted marshmallow fluff

@metmarket this is a local supermarket but what everyone comes for is this masterpiece called The Cookie. It’s a 5.5 oz cookie w 2 kinds of Belgian chocolate (semi and bittersweet), walnuts, and sea salt. Nearly half it its weight is in chocolate

They keep them rolling out all day so they’re always warm and it’s one of the best cookies I’ve ever eaten. It’s an absolute unit of a cookie but not too doughy or cakey. I prefer my CCCs less chocolatey but this thing is almost half chocolate and somehow it’s not too sweet.

I had to bring some home and throw it in the air fryer. This cookie is so beautiful. This cookie made me feel things.

@seattlepaseo Caribbean roast pork sando. My fave bite last time I was in Seattle! So delicious, but very greasy this time.

@bangrakseattle had to return here as the vibes in this place are immaculate and the food is amazing too. Khao soi pictured

@bangrakseattle duck larb was the star of the show, crispy duck on fragrant larb

@bangrakseattle love the interior!

@1920apikeplace looooved this “cultured gelato” - think Greek yogurt x gelato? Light and creamy but has som

Forget pizza... this unique Seattle breadboat is hands down one of the best comfort food resets after a long work day. 🤤🧀
.
@skalkacafe is Seattle’s very first traditional Georgian bakery, specializing in Khachapuri. Everything is baked hot to order, and dipping the warm crust right into the melted cheese center is instant dopamine.

@skalkacafe is a very well known Georgian restaurant in the city of Seattle loved for its authentic, oven-baked khachapuri, a boat-shaped bread filled with cheese, butter, and egg, with other savory toppings available. Skalka offers a comfortable, casual dining experience with quick service, great hospitality, high-quality ingredients and traditional recipes from Georgia and Eastern Europe.
