Photos on ways to NYC for @heypatyeah ‘s exhibition next month.
Massive thanks to @skar_image_lab for printing my work so nicely.
Big ups to @theblackandwhitebox for the dev + scan of these rolls.

Designed this (not so) scientific 35mm resolution chart and got it printed at @skar_image_lab in A0. Ridiculously fine detail in the print. Apparently this was a first for them. Next step: load up some Adox CMS 20 II into a film camera and shoot it. In theory, I should be able to create a resolution test strip for 35mm film scanners using this method 🤷🏽‍♂️

WAIHEKE ART AWARDS FINALIST - Delighted to share that Love Lies Flowing has been selected as a finalist for the 2026 Walker & Hall Waiheke Art Award

From 281 entries from across Aotearoa, just 36 works have been selected for the exhibition

Love Lies Flowing explores the tension between abundance and impermanence - cascading amaranths spilling between botanical form, gesture and ornament. A nest and butterflies become quiet markers of time, evoking fragility, transformation and renewal

I’m thrilled to see this work take its place among the finalists, and to have it considered by this year’s selector, @dickfrizzell thank you 🙏

THANKYOU - What an amazing event last night. My work raised over $6000 for @dementia.north, at a gorgeous evening of food and wine at @deloitte_nz . Fantastic MCing from @nathankingzed who kept the whole night rolling.

Dementia touches so many of us, in one way or another we’ve all felt it close to home. To see my art play a part in supporting the people and families living with it is exactly why I do this.

Amazing to see the incredible animation Steve by @richard_lewer who won the prestigious Archibald Portrait prize in Australia

Thank you to @the_framing_studio

Thank you to everyone who bid, who came, who made the night what it was!

❤️🙏❤️

A NEW WORK - Remember This

In a haze of end-of-winter berries, magnificent magnolias, fading hydrangeas and cascading amaranthus gather around tiny nests - lush, unruly and full of spring.

A meditation on impermanence, memory and the fleeting nature of beauty.

Spring is coming. Things bloom, things fade. Remember This.

The first edition, now framed and ready for a new home, with a portion supporting @dementia.north Living Well Services. #artfulminds

DM me for details !

In between my trips across the Tasman, I continue to produce and work on unique artworks, exhibitions and projects in New Zealand, just like this one.

At 1100x1100mm, this was a very special and large commissioned edition of Untitled Abstraction No. 4, 2025. Such a beautiful hand-made darkroom print.

Recomposed to a square format while keeping the main subject matter off centre as per the original 8x10 inch print. Printed on Ilford Smooth Pearl 310gsm, for its impressive stipple and saturation. Framed in bright aluminium. It’s a serious in cool factor and size.

This work was printed at Skar Image Lab with the help of Sanji @skar_image_lab
