💔 We were raising money to help keep Zach’s cancer away. Now we are raising money because it has come back.

We haven’t been posting much because our hearts have been broken.

On 24 July 2026, we were told that Zach’s neuroblastoma had relapsed. Our little boy is just four years old.

When we first asked for your help, we were fundraising for DFMO, hoping it could help reduce the risk of his cancer returning.

Then everything changed.

After what we thought would be his last chemotherapy, we felt such relief. We hoped we could finally begin to have some normality. Having to watch our little boy go through this again is devastating.

Our hope now is CAR-T treatment at Bambino Gesù Children’s Hospital in Rome.

🚨 We have just 11 days to reach our £339,000 target. Around £29,000 has been raised so far.

Without the funds, Zach cannot access this life-saving treatment. As his mother, it is heartbreaking to know that money stands between my little boy and this chance.

Last week, Optimezz and Demvex were proud to sponsor a charity golf match in support of Solving Kids’ Cancer UK. ⛳

This month is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Here at Boogie Beat we have been helping children to feel less alone.

Imagine being a child and having to spend time in hospital or isolate at home before starting cancer treatment.

Days can feel long. You may miss your friends, your school, your usual activities and simply being able to play and have fun.

That’s why we’re incredibly proud to have created a special 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗰 & 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗶𝗱𝘀’ 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝗞. 🎶

Wednesday night at the Senedd was powerful and full of hope 💛

Families, clinicians, charities, businesses, politicians and supporters came together under one message - Kids Get Cancer Too - and proved once again that collaboration isn’t symbolic, it's strategic, it's transformational and it is necessary.

We heard deeply moving lived experiences from Mia, Kathryn and Joanna, who shared Sharelle’s beautiful light with us all. Their voices grounded the room in the reality of childhood cancer - the urgency, the heartbreak, and the fierce hope that drives this campaign.

Our co‑host charities and clinicians spoke with clarity and conviction about the vital importance of research, the need for child‑specific treatments, better transitions from paediatric to young adult care, and why Wales’ upcoming Cancer Strategy must include dedicated commitment to children and young people. Childhood cancers are unique - and our children deserve care designed specifically for them.

A heartfelt thank you again to @saracrowleyplaid for sponsoring the event, and to our First Minister @rhunapiorwerth Thank you both for your commitment, support and leadership. Your presence and your words meant so much to families across Wales. Diolch o galon.

And to every speaker, every charity, every family, every clinician, every volunteer - thank you. You made Wednesday night powerful, purposeful and full of hope.

We stand together as a community none of us ever wished to belong to, yet one overflowing with strength, unity and love. This campaign is growing because of all of us - and together, we will keep pushing for the change our children deserve.
