In the nicest way possible, shut the fk up👋🏼 stop telling us what to wear full stop, whether it’s at a festival, a gym, a club, a restaurant, just shut the fk up.

I stand with @oneractive 🤍
I am so proud of them for making a stand against these misogynistic remarks that are continually being made.
We are women, we are strong, we are powerful, we are intelligent, we are sexy, we are kind, we are brave. And together we’re a force to be reckoned with, so my suggestion is to leave us alone xx

Yoga is more than just the movement.
You’ve probably heard me say this so often by now, but it’s so true. I’ve been noticing more and more people playing around on social media with the postures yoga provides us, and that’s all good and well that they’re finding joy in the movement however I worry this westernised world has begun removing the part of yoga that matters the most. What it teaches us.
As an Australian instructor of this ancient practice I acknowledge my role to play in the westernisation of this beautiful practice however I make it my mission to incorporate and educate my clients on where yoga begun. Regardless if I teach at Pilates studios or not, I am teaching in Sanskrit, having yogic lessons and challenging the mind throughout.
I share this practice in person and on social media because this practice saved my soul, and I so deeply want others to experience the magic it provides as well.
One of my favourite quotes from the Bhagavad Gita is: “considering your own dharma, you should not waver. For a warrior, there is nothing better than a righteous war.” A reminder that our true purpose is built upon who we naturally are, where we are & what our life circumstances uniquely call us to do. A reminder to always come home to yourself🤍
