Word of mouth is how we started this business and how we continue to grow. We understand that times are changing and that we must get creative with our approach, but we believe the love and care we put into our products speak for themselves.

Normally, when we are invited to an event, we never know who recommended us or how they discovered One Son Creations. Yesterday, we had an amazing event with a company, and I found myself wondering who had referred us.

While people were raving about the ice cream, someone we had never met approached us and shared that she had enjoyed our ice cream and cookies at an event where Stasia Mobbs had purchased treats for everyone. She loved them so much that she knew she had to have our truck at her company’s event.

What makes this moment even more special is that Stasia lives out of state. When she returned to visit her family for an event, she purchased our treats for them to enjoy. Who knew that such a thoughtful and selfless act would lead to even more blessings?

We want to thank everyone who likes, shares, recommends, and introduces our products to others. You are the reason One Son Creations continues to grow, and we are genuinely grateful for every one of you who helps us make tummies smile. ❤️🍪🍦

In all seriousness, I LOVE the women in my adult ballet class. 🩰 I learn something from them every single time I walk into the studio.

But I also love that, at this stage of my life, I don’t have to take myself too seriously.

Am I going to nail every combination? Absolutely not.

And then I’ll laugh, try again and come back next week.

Turns out I really love being a work in progress. 🖤🩰

From the bottom of my heart, I just want to say thank you all for every birthday call, text, gift, and expression of love. There's never a year that goes by that you all fail to celebrate with me and I'm so grateful 🙏🏾 Special shoutout to @nothingbundtcakes for hooking me up and helping make my birthday a little sweeter this year. 🎂💖

This birthday was so dramatically unusual compared to all the others, as I am always surrounded by my tribe. This year, however, was VERY different, and I can barely find the vocabulary to explain it. And honestly, even if I could describe it, you probably wouldn’t believe me anyway. 😆

As I blew out my candles, I found myself in a deeply reflective moment. It was also the time I chose to open my little mason jar that my beloved Candace had us each fill on one of our sacred get-togethers. Six of us wrote expressions of love and empowerment to one another, sealed them in the jars with a quartz and were instructed to open them whenever we felt the urge to. I had never opened mine.

Until now.

Even in my solitude, the presence of your beautiful souls was very much with me. Reading your notes made me feel less alone. Not because I was lonely, but it reminded me that I was deeply loved and held by the people in my life. Thank you guys for your affirmations of love and support.🫶🏾

To Ayana: thank you for 33 years of beautiful friendship ✨ You're ALWAYS holding me down, holding space for me and making sure I'm good, be it from a pin to an anchor. Thank you so much for the birthday ble$$ing this year. I love you, girl and I'll never allow you to forget that! 💕

And to Ayele: thank you for the beautiful card and for the love you poured into every word. You were the catalyst for this experience and I am eternally grateful. I don’t know that I will ever be able to repay you, but I hope you know how deeply I cherish you and how profoundly this solo experience has changed me.💖

And finally, to Spirit: thank You for loving me enough to wake me up, for showing me the woman I am beneath everything I thought I was, and for reminding me that I AM worthy‼️
I came to Mexico to honor my solar return and I left having returned to myself ✨

Mural mural on the wall 🎨✨

Stasia has been part of our dance family since the pandemic — showing up, dancing, and supporting our community in so many ways. When we began dreaming about transforming our studio walls, she connected us with her father, Stacey, an incredibly talented muralist.

Stacy took our vision and brought it to life with such care and artistry. Seeing these walls now feels even more special knowing they were created by someone connected to our community.

Art, family, and dance all coming together in one space. We are so grateful. 💛

This is just part 1! There are two more in the studios!! 😍
