Well, starting over from scratch ❤️
.
My name is Matthew Nickerson, and I am a published comic color artist.
.
Over the last 10 months, I really had to take a step back for dealing with some physical issues and some personal issues I'm still dealing with.
.
In the interim of deactivating my accounts and taking a break on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter for mattnick1983, they were hacked. (Yes, that can happen apparently and it's been a losing battle ever since)
.
So, for my first post on here (again), here are some recreational colours I did (early 2024)on @skootsart wonderful #spidergirl with inks by @zaephyn ✏️✒️🎨
.
Appreciate any likes and follows on this round two of MattNick1983🎨
.
#marvel #comicart #spiderman #comics
.
Any and all colour art posts are recreational, and all commissions and future work is closed.

First off, forgive the light ray across my video, didn’t realize it was there until after I was done haha

So, anyway, I wanted to show off this cover again, I have become such a fan of blank covers, for the sketch potential, but this one is one of if not my favorite one so far!!

I haven’t read it yet, but looking forward to seeing what @drhastingsfunnies and @denismedri

If you’re a RPG fan, what do you think?

Picked this up at Heroescon. Basically spent most of the time running around getting commissions. On the third day, used my free time looking at artwork from artists who were there. This is where I came across Skoots table @skootsart

He had a really nice Red Sonja commission comic on his table that caught my attention. Went thru his art binders and loved this Lady Death. He had not finished it, and asked if he could because I was interested in buying it. Ended up getting this, they are Sonja and had him do a Venom commission in my mixed commission book. Can’t wait to give him my Vampy or Lady Death book for a commission. Thanks Skoot!
