If you know me you know I’m not a huuuge event girl.. but I had the best time with my girl @rosa.sasges at International Women’s Day event at The’í:tselíya Health & Community Centre this afternoon. The space was beautiful, the event was so well executed, and the speakers were fantastic- definitely worth changing out of the work-from-home uniform for a day 💁🏼‍♀️

All Chilliwack SAR members are volunteers with regular day-jobs.
.
When someone needs help, Steve leaves his restoration projects and jumps into action, often getting to scene quickly to assess the situation.
.
Steve contributes through swift water, mountain rescue, ropes, avalanche, and ground search teams. He’s also our go-to guy for sorting all the garbage and recycling generated during our calls to minimize waste :)

Our volunteers help whenever you call; please help us by voting at the link in our bio 🙏
