One year of my exhibition ‘Somewhat Eternal’, from @uts_art to @instituteofmodernart and @ace.gallery.adelaide, it completes its tour @bluemountainsculturalcentre next month.

Wish I knew how lucky I was to have travelled across Lebanon last year, studying and filming in my village.

Still learning from my aunty’s practice of r’sasa رصاصة that we filmed, where she uses lead bull3ts to clear the evil eye over a video call with my cousins @juliannabeshara @micheliineb

For me that’s alchemy, using what’s harmed to heal. Inshallah we can do this with what’s unfolding in our village and all the ways it is breaking our hearts.

Endless love to everyone who helped me with this work and to everyone who donated to my family’s recent fundraiser. Wish I could do more, wish this world was different
