Living the seasonal life is an epic way to live, but it also comes with its challenges. The lack of stability and comfort. You can’t bring your comfy bed with you, or all the things you hang on your wall to make you feel at home. Mums not just down the road to cook you dinner and give you a hug. Fortunately I have an amazing support crew. Those at home who encourage me to keep exploring my passions and curiosity, and those out here venturing along side me. People who choose adventure over safety, experience over money. Seeking discomfort and coming out the other end stronger each time! Really grateful for all you guys ❤️

This will be my final post about my ski season for a while, as I’m excited to share some of my more recent adventures!!! I just want to take a moment to express my gratitude to every incredible person I had the privilege of meeting while working at Remarks.

I used the full 20 pages for this post, but I still didn’t include half of the photos I could have—just a small reflection of how amazing this season was. Through teaching, I had the opportunity to work alongside and connect with some of the most lovely people. Life often feels like a series of comings and goings, especially with the way I’ve chosen to live, and that can sometimes be a bit sad. But when I look at these photos, how could I possibly feel anything but gratitude? I was fortunate enough to share time and space with some truly wonderful humans.

As much as I love traveling and the beautiful places it takes me, it’s the people who make the adventure worthwhile. That’s why I tend to stay in places longer and don’t rush through my travels. My time living and working in New Zealand has been nothing short of epic, and it wouldn’t have been the same without all of you.

Ski towns are often known for their party atmosphere, with people from all over the world coming together for a season. But from the start, I was eager to build a community outside of that scene. We kicked off the season with potluck dinners, and hosted about five of them at various homes. These evenings were some of the highlights of my season—sharing good food and great company out of our instructor gear. Thank you all for creating such a warm, welcoming little family.

I miss you all so much and hope everyone’s northern hemi ski seasons are off to a fantastic start (I AM SO JEALOUS) I can’t wait to see you all again, wherever and whenever that may be. As always, if any of you find yourselves in the same place as me, you are always welcome at mine. ❤️

Feeling so thankful for this time, and for this life.
