FIVE YEARS!!

Five years of craft work and friendships and laughter and tears and courage and words on pages in docs that might not have even been created if it weren’t for this blessed community.

To me @quillandcup is late nights in Arkansas laughing our actual asses off and early morning prickles where I breathed life into the idea that has had my heart for over a decade. It’s wandering sacred grounds with a soul sister and getting a front row seat to my BFFs’ incredible works coming into the world. It’s warm “cuppas” and plush pillows and a room in a house that doesn’t get locked. It’s a sorority of “I don’t know babes” and permission to rest.

4 years and 9 months ago I joined this group and I have been changed because of it. As a writer and as a human. Here’s to many, many more! This is just the start!

It’s been a hot minute! But here is the last (but not least!) author from Storyteller Social! The narrator who I had down to read for @sl.astor.writes had something come up last minute so yours truly decided to narrate 😄

What do you mean I have to go back to reality and not hang out with some amazing friends all day!

This weekend was insane, busy, and pure chaos! But it was also fun hanging out with these people! Getting to meet and see some of my favorite fellow readers was awesome! Getting to see SJ thrive is also the best, between her panel and seeing her line go for days it is always exciting to see! I will say I am ready to sleep for a week straight but it was so worth it! Till the next signing see you all in 2026 for another year of fun!

RELEASE WEEK!! What a beautiful whirlwind it’s been. But my favorite part has been the friends who’ve showed up for me not just this past week but over the last several months (some not pictured here because HOWWWW did I not get photos?! 😩) These are the friends who gave me hope when it was a luxury I couldn’t afford. They’ve cheered on every win, no matter how small. They’ve sat with me through some of the darkest moments of my career and reminded me that the best was yet to come. But the truth is, the best was already there, in them. Tagging as many as I can and thinking of those I can’t. 💕
