In the department of blow your mind places: Bambu Indah Hotel. Matriarchal-ly designed, curvy cornered - everything from bamboo - carved into, and from, and at one with the jungle. This place showed me and @pthepaul what sustainable architecture can be. Since I am a cold plunge enthusiast, blurbed about theirs over @yolojournal for “cure hotels” piece. You are rewarded for your efforts here. In the words of visionary John Hardy who built the joint, “love an ATV “. That’s short for All Terrain Woman. Shout out to @slairdsee and @kenkochey for introducing us to their Balinese world.
