I was birthed today! 🧚🎂 But this is actually about YOU👇

Thank you for all the birthday wishes, and thank you for making 26 the best year of my life. This past year, you helped me:

🎉 Launch 3 art vending machines that have generated over $20,000 in art sales, with profits going directly back to local artists

📰 Get those machines featured in magazines, newspapers, TV news segments, podcasts, and online publications, helping spread the message that creativity matters

🔴 Give a TEDx talk about being weird (and some of you even came to watch, which still makes me emotional 🥹)

✈️ Pack up my entire life and move from Richmond to Amsterdam

💗 Reclaim my creative weirdness and share more of myself with the internet than ever before

26 was all about taking up space.

Here’s to 27. 🎂✨

I moved. To Amsterdam. Quietly.
Didn’t tell many people and somehow, I’ve never felt lighter.

👉Here’s what’s next:

•Stay calm the art vending machines are staying in Richmond 🤭
•Disco Bunny is evolving beautifully.

👉This has been in the works.
•Behind the scenes, we’ve been testing systems, building processes, and setting things up so everything can run smoothly even from abroad.

Same heart. Same mission.
Just bigger reach 🇳🇱🎨✨

As for me personally?
I don’t fully know what’s next but I’m really excited to take you along as I find out.

💼 I left my corporate design job of 5+ years.
🚗 Sold my car.
🏡 We sold our home
📦 Sold nearly everything in that home.

And now we wake up happy and feel safe.

If you’re in the U.S. and need resources, support, or even just want to talk about leaving, I’m here. Truly.

I love you.
Stay safe 🤍

Even during my meltdowns, late nights, celebrations, and “wtf now” moments, Slate has prioritized my success and dreams.

One of the most important parts of making this happen is the support behind the camera, and that’s @slatesimmonds

If you’ve been to a launch party, or seen me out and about, you’ve likely met Slate. They’re my best friend and guess what we’re even married (sometimes we kith)🙈

Some fun things that Slate has figured out for me is getting scratches out of vending machine glass, making holes in metal for card readers, designing my entire website, and most importantly making space for me to do this while they support our lil family.

You deserve a love like this. Don’t settle.
