Everyone, Meet Erin, @jungle.surf.pirate

I crossed paths with Erin April 27, 2021 completely by chance… although at the time I didn’t necessarily believe it was serendipitous. In fact for a long time I was so damn mad. Today when I saw him again, I can tell you all of the feelings were 100% the opposite. I was filled with so much gratitude. I wanted to explode. The thing you might not know about Erin is he was out eating dinner at bird in the bottle with a fellow nurse and a doctor that also worked at Kaiser the night of my wreck. They’re why I’m still here. They saved my life. They definitely didn’t have to interrupt their meal and could’ve let other first responders take the reins and handle it but they didn’t. They spray into action and are literally the only reason why I’m still here today. Sorry about your bad luck to some of you lol
Erin though, he’s been my post op care nurse for a good chunk of my procedures this past 2.5 years. He’s been a bright light in some rough times. Always encouraging me to not give up even when things got super dark and I wanted out of this world.
There’s so much more to say, but for now I guess God was really looking out for me when he placed you on my path. You’re an angel on earth.
