We are thrilled to see our artists’ ceramic sculptural works featured in Architectural Digest’s cover story on Usher’s Atlanta residence.

Featured are Andrea Marquis’ Celadon Garniture Vessel (USA, 2025), crafted in stoneware with her signature glazes; Sloane Angell’s Mycelial Form: Night Spores (USA, 2025), a handbuilt mushroom sculpture; and three handbuilt, painted vessels by Christopher Russell: Green and Brown Vessel, Watercolor Vessel, and Bright Landscape Vessel V.

These acquisitions grew out of our ongoing residency at Bergdorf Goodman, where Todd Merrill Studio transformed the 7th floor hallway last summer. We are delighted to see these remarkable works now living in such an extraordinary home.

Works by Andrea Marquis, Sloane Angell, and Christopher Russell are currently available both at our Tribeca gallery and in our three-room salon on the 7th floor of Bergdorf Goodman.

A heartfelt thank you to Nicole Fuller for her continued support of our gallery and artists. Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this beautiful project to life.

New work by ceramic artist Sloane Angell has arrived at Todd Merrill Studio.

Created exclusively for the gallery, Angell’s Mycelial Forms series draws inspiration from the intricate underground networks of fungi, exploring themes of transformation, memory, and interconnectedness through richly textured, hand-built ceramic sculpture.

Now on view and available at our Salon on the 7th Floor at Bergdorf Goodman.

Ran the Maui Marathon with @sloaneangell. Had Udon at @star.noodle, Mai Tais at @monkeypodkitchen, and beers at @mauibrewingco. Abi couldn’t find any good poke and the shave ice guy didn’t know what Haupia was. Atticus loves whales, bananas, and his cousins Arco and Apollo. Came home with a cooler full of fresh Axis meat.

In love with this life.

Sloane Angell’s handbuilt ceramic sculptures, Mycelial Forms (mushrooms) emerge like quiet blooms. They are organic, intuitive, and alive with movement. Inspired by the hidden networks of fungi, each sculptural vessel traces a story of growth, decay, and renewal, shaped in close dialogue with the clay itself.

Layered glazes and earthy, luminous tones echo the forest floor, revealing depth, texture, and time held within each piece. Both delicate and enduring, these works invite a slower kind of looking—one attuned to what unfolds beneath the surface.

It is a poetic nod to spring when everything stirs, stretches, and begins again.

This vibrant vignette brings together works that pulse with movement and material energy, from Aurel K. Basedow’s layered acrylic and resin abstractions to Gary Magakis’ hand-sculpted bronze forms, whose modernist cantilevers feel both dynamic and grounded.

Suspended above, John Procario’s monumental 12-foot-wide Crevasse VII light sculpture appears to float. Its luminous presence balances scale with elegant restraint. Atop Magakis’ console, Sloane Angell’s hand-built ceramic Mycelial Forms introduce a note of whimsy, their vivid blue glazes echoing and amplifying the tones within Basedow’s painting.

Each work reflects its maker’s exceptional craftsmanship and vision, and all are currently available through the gallery. As many of our artists work on a commission basis, custom designs can also be accommodated.

As a prank my friend sent me the invitation to lunch but using AI 🤖 changed the dress code to FLAMBOYANT. It wasn’t cricket 🏏… I turned up to see everyone else looking very cruise collection … that being said I think I sold ten sets of our new pyjamas. #silverlinings
