POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

gosh it was hard to dig thru my very unorganized digital mess of an archive to find pre-pandemic Latela baby & toddler pics (& some pics of impactful moments outside the gallery), but i think i found some gems of the early years. also, i wrote some words on arts entrepreneurship and what that means particularly in DC (on substack, link in bio). lots of food for thought, all positive & growth inspiring. onwards ~

The last painting I had up in my living room was my iris apfel painting. Which, is heavily saturated with color and texture much like the rest of my apartment. I wanted to make something that was minimal but still interesting enough to hold your attention when you sit down. There is still movement and interest on this canvas keeping it minimal and still giving a nod to this Japanese inspired trail I keep bringing into my work. It feels good to make something for myself for my home.

🎉BIG NEWS!🎉
The Parcel is now Marcella Studio!

After a decade of working with flowers in all kinds of ways—farming, retail, and everything in between—I’m simplifying and returning to what lit the spark in the first place: designing flowers for events and weddings that are intentional, artful, and a little wild.

We’re now booking in Austin + New York, and I couldn’t be more excited for what’s next.

New name, same heart. Thanks for being part of the ride. 🫶
