Dimitris Tasoudis and Stelios Gagaris release their first full-length album as Silent Movie Project.
The album is available now on Bandcamp and will gradually become available on all other streaming platforms.

The record was born through live improvisation, created as a soundtrack for Hans Richter’s 1926 avant-garde film, Film Study: the duet made a series of music re-visits (channeling Michel Chion) to the film with a selection served here.

Along with the digital release, a special video will be available featuring the original film alongside footage from the recording session.
Cinematography and editing by Sophia Tolika & Liuba Papadopoulou

Dimitris Tasoudis: Piano, Drums, Electronics
Stelios Gagaris: Analog Synths, Lapsteel, Trepidation box, Guitar FX
Recorded live by Yannis Mavridis at Cue Studios
Mixed and Mastered by Grigoris Mavropoulos
Cover Art: Dimitris Tasoudis

We had a blast yesterday (Sunday 15/6) at #EpistrefeiZinefest (park of Agios Nikolaos, Exarchia). People engaged with the AZB open zine workshop, we spend time with our guess @a.lens.pointed.at.you in the table of @fewofourfavoritethings , spoke with various people about zines and got a bunch of them for the #AZBarchive thanks to your donations. The list of zines added is this:
1. “Οι σομα(τικές) ποιητικές ασκήσεις του CAConrad” by @katsarida.press
2. “The adventures of Leucippe and Clitoris” by @katsarida.press
3. “Fem Excess” by @katsarida.press
4. “Τσαρτσάφι” by tsartsafi@protonmail.com
5. “Tsartsafi II” by tsartsafi@protonmail.com
6. “Ο ουρανός & ο ουρανίσκος” by @thebirdsdokiss
7. “Barricade: Documentation of the student occupations of 2024, in solidarity with Palestine”, a present to AZB by @emkurafts
8. “Plasmata” by @fewofourfavoritethings

Also, we have received via mail and a copy of “Γιαννούλη“ photo zine by @slolika .
What a day!
Thanks to @katsarida.press and @teuf.exceptionelle for organising the event and for inviting us over.

Incredible book about underground spaces in Thessaloniki. Mundus by @slolika explores subterranean worlds with some play on "as above so below", a cosmic almost sci-fi depiction of what is held beneath the feet with an emphasis on burrowing through rock. Super cool! Design by Jaime Narvaez, editing Moritz Neumuller
