DAY 9: THE GHOUL

Way too many good ghouls to pick from. So hard to choose only 20.

DAY 1: BOOGIE MAN

What an insane turnout yesterday had. So many returning veterans and tons of new comers. I can tell this season is going to be a good one.

I love the variety of interpretations for this prompt. Jealous I didn’t think of all the booger and snot guys!

If you see any art you like, all the artists are tagged, give them a follow! It’ll mean the world to them!

My least favorite thing about doing a comic book signing is when people ask me if I'm also the artist, and seeing their microreaction of utter disappointment when I tell them I only write. DON'T THEY UNDERSTAND HOW ENVIOUS I AM OF ARTISTS AND HOW AMAZING THEY ARE?! I'm disappointed in myself, too, random person looking at my comics. Luckily I have all the brilliant and talented minds who contribute to @season.of.the.bad.guys.club to live vicariously through.

Have a Sunday fun day, cool cats 🖤 Big appreciation for this incredible illustration by @sloth_breed 🙌🏽

Repost • @sloth_breed Guten morgen meine Ghule und Kobolde. Hope everyone is doing alright out there. Shit has been absolutely wild out there, and I hope everyone stays super safe. I drew this piece last year and never uploaded it here. I typically work 9”x12” or 11”x14, but this pair of bad bois is on 18”x24”! Was asked to do this piece for my very good friend @lidtoker to honor his love for his two wonderful cat children Sam and PJ. Gave them both a good ol’ set of crusty metal merch with many of their pet names squeezed in as bands. Put some serious effort into trying to make these Gibson RD Artists and the Mesa Triple Rectifier as accurate as I could. Definitely put in a ton of time and love into these babies! Rest In Peace to Sam. He was a stellar gentleman I felt honored to know. Hope you all have a good damn week! And happy inking! 🦥✨

Today marks the mid line of #DrawBanana and other cool art challenges on Instagram. I'm late on my own list, so here's a few highlights from last year, Draw Banana season 1.

To everyone who has participated last year, this year, and both years, i want to thank you enormously! I make up weird silly characters in my head, and you find them fun enough to draw. That to me means way more than you might imagine. So again: thank you!!!

All artists are tagged on their pieces! Thanks for being part of #DrawBanana !

❗️Carry Narcan ❗️

Repost • @west.oakland.punks.with.lunch AH-mazing 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 #Repost @sloth_breed [image: an illustration of a light skinned punk walking with one hand in their pants pocket and the other holding up a peace sign, patches all over their grey jeans and denim vest, wearing a red bandana around their neck. They’re also wearing lace up boots and instead of a head there is a dose of nasal spray narcan.]

Guten abend meine Ghule und Kobolde! I can’t believe how much incredible art has been made in such a short time! Everyone has really been grinding and seeing all this talent displayed is simply beautiful! We are onto day 7 (wowza, a whole week already!) of the @season.of.the.bad.guys.club from the one and only @craig.gleason ! Today’s theme is “Poison Punk.” In a previous year, I did an illustration of a Poison Punk with a Fentanyl bottle for a head. Decided to do the inverse this time around, and made an Anti-Poison Punk with a Narcan Nasal Spray for a head! We all need to familiarize ourselves with this life saving potion! It’s worth it!! You may not think you need this kind of knowledge, but if you do need it, you’ll be more than glad you were prepared ahead of time! I Decided to mix some band patches up with a couple of local groups that I think are amazing. I encourage you to look into all of them! I’ll add their handles where I can! Food Not Bombs has chapters all over so its a great place to start! Here in the Bay, there are tons of amazing groups like West Oakland Punks With Lunch ( @west.oakland.punks.with.lunch ), Berkeley Needle Exchange ( berkeleyneed . org), and Town Fridge ( @townfridge ) just to name a few! (Look close at that get up, lol). I also encourage you to look for local mutual aid and assistance groups in your area! It’s never too soon or too late to join a Mutual Aid Group or Organization!! We gotta build strong communities that depend on one another! Let’s keep one another safe out there, and happy inking! 🦥✨
