My second season with @giantfactoryoffroadteam doing exactly what I love. 20 Slides is simply not enough for all the amazing memories I made with this team this year.

I’ve always dreamed of combining my passion for photo and video with the opportunity to travel the world. Being able to say that I’ve been doing this as my job for the past two years, surrounded by the most amazing people, is something I’m incredibly grateful for.

Can’t wait for the next season💙

Andorra World Cup week was a bit different for me this year.

Instead of going home after La Thuile, we decided I would stay with the team and doing examinations in Andorra. Looking back, a great call because next to becoming wiser, I could find some inner peace in the mountains, trained in this gorgeous country and finally found time to speak with so many people in this community for whom isn’t always time in normal race weeks. You really warmed my heart for your genuine interest in checking in with me.

Seeing the racing from the wrong side of the tape hurt, but this ultimately shows me how much I still love this game. Can’t wait for the day in can unleash my full potential in a race again.

As I continue to pack for @uci_mtbworldseries South Korea and the excitement that comes with going to a new venue. This is the start of my fourth World Cup MTB season with @giantfactoryoffroadteam and one of the ways I know it starting is when the @vcgraphix_ name/frame stickers arrive. It's the finishing detail to new bikes and equipment. It's the perfect finishing detail that lets me know it's time to start the season. Thanks AJ for the amazing work you do and for taking care of us! #giantfactoryoffroadteam #vcgraphix

Not every run needs a reason.
Sometimes it’s just the crew, the trails, and a shared obsession.
But something is building. Stay close.

We hit the ground running here in 🇿🇦 about a week ago.

We've had several days of 📸 media shoots and 🥵 bike rides here, it was time for something different. The @giantfactoryoffroadteam took a few hours to do something non-bicycle related. We all piled in the cars and headed to @aquilasafaris for a sunset safari.

I've seen a few of these animals at zoos (in cages) back home, it's so much more impressive to see them "free range". To see the true size of the elephants as they walked past our tour truck was amazing. There were so many rhinos and zebras. This place is only a few hours from Cape Town and they do a spectacular job at keeping these animals safe and secure and away from trophy hunters. It was an amazing few hour tour with my second family (albeit some aren't here). #southafrica #giantfactoryoffroadteam #carterlearnedempathy #protectthesebeautifulanimals

All in all we got to see 4 of the big 5! If you ever get a chance, definitely do a safari.
